-5- couldn't get worse

Olivia P.O.V

Walking away from the now messy bedroom , I started searching for my favorite shirt . I wanted to wear it to my date after my shift end .

Passing the kitchen I noticed Jackson , Lucy and John .

Wait ? Jackson , Lucy and John ?
I walked backwards , looking in my kitchen just to notice my fellow rookies .

I made sure to place my biggest smile before asking " hey guys , how did you get in ? " I got a couple of chuckles .

" Olivia we are police officers remember ? " Jackson said . " i think she needs to take some brain medicines to remember . "

" Hahaha very funny you guys , wait do I need to change my door ? " I faked laugh then asked .

" No but we have a surprise for you , I think you are gonna love it " Lucy said with a look of mischief in her eyes .

Then each of them opened their jackets only me to be met by a shirt with the image of me sleeping peacefully in my bed .

" what the hell , remove that shirt , how did you print that so fast ? " I said , rage rushing through my face .

And to my surprise , they laughed , correction , they laughed REALLY hard . Even I couldn't help but chuckle at their antics .

After explaining that Lucy had a friend that helped , and me explaining why they shouldn't do that , I went to change my clothes in the toilet .

Even because of my age , I still feel like I'm the mom of the group , okay I admit that I sleep with different and go on A LOT of dates . But i have always been responsible and make sure I don't get screwed up or do anything bad .

We got ready and headed to the department with eachother using Lucy's car .

" you know , i think I'm going to buy a car next month , I hate using an uber each time . " I complained while we entered the roll call room .

" I think the same , I mean I saw your car , and I'm telling you , men will run away as soon as they smell the car or even get near it . " She said before laughing and I joined in .

We waited patiently for Sergeant Grey to come .

3rd person P.O.V.

After he entered the room and everyone settled in their seats he started his speech " settle down everyone , settle down . Today our main focus is on this guy ." He showed the guy's picture .

" This man is an illegal items dealer with the help of his little helpers . Today , you need to be more vigilant than any other day , Unfortunately , we do not have his name , since he used multiple identities . "

After Sergeant Grey told the officers to be safe out there , each one started preparing for his day .

Olivia went to the gear shop and got what she needed with officer Bradford .

" Let's go , boot ." He said as he passed Olivia . After she got what they needed , she headed to the shop and placed them in the trunk .

Settling in their ' comfortable ' seats , they started their journey by going to the now busy streets .

" So , boot ." Tim started " I heard what you said in the interrogation room the other day , I uh am sorry of what you went through. " he finished

Olivia was shocked , it was the first time she heard him talk about something other than work in the shop , yet it also was an apology

Despite her being shocked about his apology , she decided to play along , being ready for any kind of test he is going to say .

" Thank you ." Even though she didn't want people to pity her , an apology from Tim Bradford is a ' one in a life time ' thing .

While patrolling , Olivia was looking out the window , searching for any signal of a strange action that may lead her to their suspect .

" Tim ." Olivia said , adjusting her position and looking between some shopes .

" What is it ?" He asked , not thinking much of it and following her eye line to the place she is looking at .

" isn't that the suspect we are supposed to catch?" She asked while taking the file that Sergeant Grey gave to each officer .

" I think so . " Officer Bradford said , looking more serious than before .

"7-adam-15 requesting backup , suspect spotted on ... " Olivia radioed in and after they got a response saying that the backup is on it's way , they drove behind the car .

Tim put the blur and red sirens of their shop on and they opened the door to talk with the suspect .

" License and registration ." Officer Bradford said when the two guys came out .

But without saying a word the suspects pulled out giant looking guns from their car and started shooting .

Suddenly , Tim got shot and now it is only Olivia shooting , having the hope that backup is on its way .

The suspects shot blindly , leading to some screams of the neighbours and catastrophe to start around them .

Olivia went to Tim and placed him in a safe place . " GO get them before they run away ." He yelled .

I ran to get cover behind a trash can and started shooting in their way .

After seconds , the backup arrived and now it is 7 vs 2 , us being 7 cops .

Lucy ran to Tim while Jackson ran to my side . " Are you okay ? Are you hurt ? " he asked , looking at me for any kind of wound .

" No , no im fine , it is just we need to help Tim . " Olivia said to him " 7-adam-15 , an officer down , requesting an ambulance. " She radioed in .

" 7-adam-19 , copy that . " Len said through the radio .

" Jackson , we need to start shooting . " Olivia said before getting a nod from Jackson who started shooting to the suspects' way with her .

Eventually , Lopez and John managed to get the suspects down while Olivia and Jackson went to arrest them .

Lucy was still by Tim's side , watching as the doctors from the ambulance helped them .

" That was .... something . " Olivia said to Jackson as they placed the suspects in the shop .

" I better get to the hospital , my T.O. is there and we'll talk later ." Olivia ran to the ambulance after getting an "ok" from Jackson .

Olivia's mind kept drifting to random things that happened today but she was sure that it wasn't a lovely day .

That is a chapter , I actually am not going to place each episode in this story since it will take FOREVER to finish the story , but I place the important things only and sometimes the things that make the story better .
