-17- Trauma

3rd person P.O.V.

There was some loud chats in the room of the hospital .

Some officers were gathered infront of a patient room but not any patient .

The doctors announced that Olivia was in a coma and that no one knows when she will wake up .

The Lapd officers on the other hand had hope that she will wake up soon enough .

" And then , I was inside the house , helping a criminal not to be seen or caught by the people outside . And then I looked through the window and I could hear Alex talking with the guy . He was like ' one thing I learned in the LAPD is that you're never alone ' and as soon as he said that , back up came like in a movie or something ." Lucy explained to 2 of her fellow rookies .

" Well that's a hell of a story ." A voice of Olivia's came from the bed .

Everyone stopped talking and looked at her . And as soon as they realised what's going on , they called the doctor .

" Olivia ! I'm so happy that you're back ! " said John with a smile on his face .

" I never left , not really . " She replied with a small smile on her face .

" Excuse me everyone , I need you to step out so that I can do some tests on Mrs Smith . "

As everyone stepped out Olivia glanced at the doctor .

" Doctor , there's something weird , something that I never felt in my body has like ... changed . " She explained giving the doctor a concerned look .

" We had the possibilities that this will happen . We think that you were his by something on your head that led your nerves to change , your emotions are more complicated right now , but you can get better by feeling joy and sadness and different emotions , mostly joy but others can work slightly ."

Olivia understood the doctor and watched him as he did some tests .

After finishing his work , he stepped out of the room before being replaced by the officers waiting outside .

" I got you this , it is the biggest I could find . " John said handing her a big , pink Teddy bear .

" Well , thanks ." She said politely as she placed the bear beside her .

" I , uhh , got you this . " said Jackson as he awkwardly handed her a bouquet of flowers .

Olivia looked at them , she still  hasn't recovered from the break up with Jackson and the news he threw at her .

She nodded and placed the bouquet on the small table infront of her hospital bed .

After everyone said their greetings and gave their gifts , Olivia literally kicked them out of the room so that she can sleep peacefully .

The next day , Tim came to the hospital in the morning .

" Hey , I thought you had a shift today . " Olivia said confused as to why he's here .

" Well I actually took the day off , I had a lot of days I could skip and decided to take one today . "

" well I'm flattered . The one and only officer Bradford took a day off to come and visit me . "

There was a pause , Tim looked at the ground , not knowing what he should say or how he should start a conversation .

" Im sorry ." He said in a whisper as he sat in the chair that was located beside her bed .

" For what ? "

" Olivia , look , I know you're strong , but I know for a fact that you need help mentally , and I'm here everytime you need help , I promise . "
