3rd person's P.O.V.
( Guys , I know that it wasn't 2 years difference but , it is for the story , so , please don't mind it . )
" Settle down everyone , settle down . " Grey said in a strange voice to the officers in the room .
It was now 2021 , meaning that Lucy has been an officer for two years and finished being a rookie in the start of the year before .
" As you all have heard , we have a new captain . " He explained as he stood in the podium .
A mischievous grin was on his face as he placed his hands on the wood , bringing the officers to be confused .
" I want you all to welcome her , and respect her like our previous captains , even with the ... situations . "
And with that everyone was definitely confused , wondering why did Grey talk like that about the captain .
Everyone amongst them thought that the captain was a serial killer or something .
" Please welcome . " But before he could finish his sentence , heels sounds could be heard from outside .
" Captain Olivia Smith . " He added proudly and pointed at the door behind him .
There she was , Olivia Smith , in a black long dress with some black and red heels and a jacket .
She held her head high , not caring about the mouths fully agaped that filled the room .
A paper was in her hand . She went to the podium and stood there as the Sergeant gave her space .
" And this , is a list of the errors and mistakes I have found in the first fifteen minutes from being here . " She said and held up a paper .
The officers were shocked at the way that she presented herself , they expected a warm greeting .
Olivia scanned the room slightly , trying to find the familiar faces of her ex coworkers .
Just then , her eyes laid on her ex boyfriend whose mouth was agape with his eyebrows furrowed .
" She has no right to be here ! She couldn't have even graduated and studied for being a captain ! It's been only two years , she can't be back . " Tim said frustrated .
The captain held her hand high , signaling to Grey to shut up because he opened his mouth to try and say something .
" Officer Bradford , long time no see . Oh , I'm sure that I earned the right to be here , I'm sure that you are frustrated that your old ' boot ' has became your captain , and I'm also sure that you don't want to talk to me aka your captain like that . "
Tim fell silent , not wanting to argue or fall into trouble with her .
The most stunned people were her ex fellow rookies , they were totally shocked .
Lucy had her eyes WIDE open . John was looking at Olivia as though trying to find if she was real . And Jackson was looking anywhere other than her .
" Very well , get out there everyone . Grey , I'm sure that you want to check this list ." She said and handed Grey the list that she made .
Olivia was proud of the way she presented herself , she wanted everyone to respect her and treat her like a real captain .
Flashback to an hour earlier :
The girl went through piles and piles of clothes , trying to find an appropriate outfit to wear .
" What should I wear ? What should I wear ? " she nervously said , still trying to find an outfit .
" Olivia ! Look at this one ! " a voice belonging to Claire said .
Claire was Olivia's adoptive daughter , well she is fourteen so their relationship was a sister like .
" Well it's good , I should wear this jacket . Hmm . " She said and squeezed her eyes , thinking about her decision .
" Come on , I'll be late to school . " Claire said as she adjusted her backpack on her shoulder .
" Wait , let me pack my purse and place some makeup on . " Olivia said after she wore her dress .
She went to her vanity and told Claire to go and eat something while she gets ready .
The new captain placed some red lipstick on her lips and added some eyeliner before placing her mascara .
Her look was fancy , REALLY , fancy , but her makeup wasn't too heavy .
" Im ready . " She exclaimed as she walked out of her closet .
Their house was BIG . It was a 4 floors villa with an underground parking lot .
It's was a five bedroom , seven bathrooms , two kitchens and 3 living rooms house . It's also contains a movie room , giant backyard with a cozy area made specifically for Olivia .
" Oh wait , I haven't prepared my purse . " She said and ran inside her bedroom .
She placed her lipstick , a pack of cigarettes , a gun and her phone . It was almost impossible to fit everything in her tiny , Louis vuitton bag .
" Now , I'm officially ready . By the way , I called the driver , Antonio , to get you to school . You would get popular really fast if you do that on your first day . " She said with a smile .
Flashback ends .
The captain's office was crowded by 4 large boxes as Olivia started packing her things .
" Olivia ! I missed you ! " Lucy said and went to hug the captain .
The grey eyed girl gently pushed the officer back , eyeing her coldly with a hint of disappointment in her eyes .
Lucy placed a confused face since she didn't understand why the captain did that .
" Officer Chen , im your captain , you are an officer , I'm not here to chit-chat with you about my life , so get out of my office if it isn't about work . " Olivia said in an aggressive tone .
" And Chen . " She said . " Im watching you closely , and if I see any mistake , you are probably out , for good . "
The woman has scared the hell out of Lucy . Olivia wanted to do that since she wanted only one thing .
Revenge .
