-7- what a day

3rd person P.O.V.

After she woke up , Olivia opened her eyes to meet an unfamiliar sight .

She wasn't in her bed . First she was confused but then she remembered what happened last night .

She slept with another guy , in his house and in his bed .

" Goodmorning " she heard a soft voice beside her . " Goodmorning " she replied feeling tired . " I have to get to work "

" We can go together if you want to " he suggested feeling pride with his confident . She smiled and pecked him on his big lips .

" I'd love to " and with that , she wore her dress of the night before and headed out of the bedroom to the small kitchen .

" Olivia , what are you doing here? " Lucy just entered the kitchen , feeling confused as to why her friend was in her apartment .

" I uhhh , I was tryi- " but unfortunately she was interrupted. " Hey babe , what are you doing "

Jackson just walked in with nothing but a towel . Lucy had her eyes WIDE open . " Babe ? What do you mean babe ? " Lucy asked , but she is sure she knew what he meant .

" Lucy , look i i can explain ." Olivia said , trying to get the tension down . " Why do you want to explain ? I'm happy for you , girl " Lucy said smiling from ear to ear .

After having some coffee , they went to the car of Jackson . Lucy was happy , in fact she was over the moon for her bestfriend .

As they arrived at the busy station and changed into their uniforms , Olivia asked Jackson if he can talk to her privately .

" Is everything alright , you're worrying me " Jackson said while he walked with Olivia to a private corner .

" No everything is great , I just think that uhh , we need to tell Sergeant Grey about the situation . I mean what if they disagree on our relationship . " Olivia said , fearing that she could lose her job as a cop .

" Hey , look at me ." He said , looking in Olivia's eyes with his brown and big ones .

" Whatever happen , I'm on your side , we can do whatever you want . You name it ." He said confidently, hoping that he impressed her by his words .

" Ok , but I'm going to talk with Sergeant Grey and see what he says about it, okay ? " I explained and went to my sergeant's office after he nodded .

" Goodmorning , sir " I said after I knocked and walked in his office .

" Goodmorning , officer Smith , i am hearing ." He greeted me back .

" I wanted to talk to you about a personal matter " I said and he signaled me to continue " Well Officer West and I we kind of have a thing , but first we wanted to make sure that our work life doesn't end because of that relationship ."

Olivia was really nervous , she really liked him and wanted to have a healthy relationship with him but she also loved her job .

" Well officer Smith , first I need to see your behaviour at work , does it change anything ? Will you do mistakes for him or the other way ? I cannot judge right now , but I have a bad feeling ."

" dont worry sir , we will make sure to do our best in differencing work and personal life . " the words fell out of Olivia's mouth .

But she wasn't lying , she loved her job , got rid of her past and can do it again .

" dismissed " Sergeant Grey said before he started looking in some paperwork .

Walking out of the sergeant's office , Olivia went to the roll call room and told Jackson what the Sergeant said .

When Sergeant Grey entered the roll call room and stood near the podium , he started saying that in Valentine's day work gets harder than usual .

Olivia went to get her gear while chatting rapidly with her fellow rookies .

" I think we will have some interesting adventures today " John said while he requested the usual gear to place in the trunk .

" Same , but I really want to do some drama today , ya know it's Valentine's day . Maybe we'll see a woman beating her husband for cheating on her " Jackson said , thinking at the possibilities of action that will happen today .

" Get in the shop , boot ." Tim yelled for Olivia , ready for the day on the streets .

After some " see you later "s , Olivia got the gear and went to shop's trunk to place them there .

The drive started and it was complete silent between the two officers .

" 7-adam-19 , reporting a man making violence in .... street . " They heard a voice from the radio .

" 7-adam-15 , show us responding, en route, 1 minute ." Olivia said through the radio , ready for to arrest the man .

When the officers arrived at the scene , they saw a shirtless man , yelling , running and even pushing some people .

" Sir , you need to stop doing that now " Tim said , but before he could continue his sentence the man ran to the other way .

Olivia immediately started chasing him on foot , running between the crowded and busy streets .

Tim , however , went to the car to drive and block the man's way , while also trying not to hurt people with the car .

Olivia ran behind the man , and when she was right behind him , she jumped at his back , leading to them being on the ground , each one wrestling for different reasons .

Tim arrived at the scene and stood beside his car , knowing that she can arrest the guy .

The guy didn't give up and wrestled like his life depends on it . But he stand no chance against a police officer .

As Olivia cuffed the guy , Tim opened the shop's door , ready for the guy to get in .

" 7-adam-15 , suspect in custody ." Olivia said , while leading the man to the car .

" Let's get him to the station , boot ." Tim said , going to the drivers seat .
