3rd person's P.O.V.
Some sounds of cries filled the corridor of the house .
A woman with blonde hair and green to grey eyes ran into the room .
She held the crying baby in her arms , patting him back and rocking her back and forth gently .
The baby stopped crying but didn't fall asleep like her mother hoped .
Sighing , the woman got out of the room to go to the backyard .
" Honey , did she sleep ? Oh , looks like the little devil wants some fun . "
Tim , the woman's husband , said to her before looking at her and taking the baby from his wife's arms .
Thanking him , the captain went to her guests . It was a small party that they made .
Their baby is now two weeks old and they didnt have a baby shower , so instead , they held this party .
" Omg , look at the new , well not new , mom coming ! " Lucy , the woman's bestfriend said .
The woman posed in different poses , trying to make her friend laugh .
" Mommy . I can't find my shoe . Oh hey Lucy . " Charlotte , the four years old daughter of the Captain said .
" Did you look near the pool ? " Her mother said before giving her a warm look .
The kid ran near the pool , making sure not to fall into the water .
" Olivia ! So good to see you ! I brought some wine , your fav . And I also got you these . I craved them a lot when I was breastfeeding Jackson . "
Angela , one of Olivia's bestfriends said while handing her a basket .
" Aw , thank you . I would probably NEED the wine and these look delicious . " the captain said gratefully .
Nyla soon arrived , completing the friend group .

" Babe , I'm gonna go to sleep . " Tim said and kissed his wife's cheek before going to the bedroom .
Olivia , however , walked to the small library in her house .
She opened a book that was hidden in between books on the shelf .
Dear diary she wrote .
My life is going great . It has been for the past five years . Let me write what happened to us .
Me : Me and Tim got engaged a year after I officially became his girlfriend . I'm going to be a commander in the L.A.P.D. , but now I can't since I gave birth to my beautiful son , Sebastian , I also gave birth to my daughter , Charlotte , she was born a little while after I married . My family is my light . I'm also cancer free ! I'm proud .
Tim : Tim and I got engaged a year after I officially became his girlfriend . He passed his sergeant's exam and he is now a proud and strict Sergeant in the department . I'm proud .
Claire : Claire became a doctor in a well known hospital , we are still in contact and are inseparable . She comes to our house three times a week and she now has a boyfriend . He is kind of nice . I'm proud .
Lucy : Lucy achieved her dreams and is now a well known detective . She sometimes go on undercover work . Her relationships are poor and she dated different guys in the past years but is currently single . I am her bestfriend with Nyla and Angela . I'm proud .
John : John surprised us all and is studying to do his detective exam after being a T.O. even though he is expiring from age . He married the love of his life , Bailey , aka my best friend . I'm proud .
Bailey : Bailey is my best friend , she is still in the L.A.F.D . She is happy to be a normal fire fighter and not work on desks . She married Nolan and they are discussing about having kids , ew.
I'm proud .
Angela : Angela and Wesley are surprisingly still married , she is still a smart detective and is cracking case after case . She gave birth a little while before me , having a beautiful son . She also ships her older son with my daughter , which only makes our husbands angrier . I'm her best friend with Nyla and Lucy . Im proud .
Wesley : Wesley is now a successful and well known lawyer , he has lots of clients and is happy with his wife . He had his second son with her a few weeks ago . He also gets angry whenever his wife ship her eldest son with my daughter . His friendship with James is still strong . I'm proud .
Nyla : Nyla is still a T.O. in the department and she wants it that way . She also has the custody of her eldest daughter and gave birth to another two years old daughter , believe me , her birth experience was terrifying . She married James and are living happily . I'm also her best friend with Lucy and Angela . I'm proud .
James : James still visits his old neighbourhood , making sure that everything was fine and that his neighbours are doing fine . He married Nyla and is now the biological father of their daughter . He is also a proud stepdad . His friendship with Wesley is still going strong . I'm proud .
Jackson : Jackson is still working as a police officer , that's for sure . He is a T.O. and ignored his father's words on becoming a worker in his station . He is gay and is dating a nice guy that may last a long time . I'm proud .
Wade : Wade resigned which made the officers sad but he had a great time traveling with his wife around the world and is happy to see his daughter graduate from university . Like I wrote , his spot was taken by Tim . I'm proud .
So dear diary , my life is perfect , I have rebuilt it and made it better . One thing that wasn't rebuilt was my pain for my mother . Even though she treated me like shit . I still love her . I even have a picture of her in my hallway .
But for now .
