-34- catastrophic baby shower .

3rd person's P.O.V.

" Guys , you really didn't have to do that . " Angela said after she entered the house with her husband and baby boy .

Jackson Evers , the baby , was born a week ago in a hospital . Almost of the close friends to the detective was at her birth . Well , not in the same room but still .

The baby was seated in a baby seat ( A/N : I don't know what they call it . ) that was carried by his mother .

" We didn't have to , but we wanted to . " explained the older Jackson as he revealed the food .

The people there were : the two Jacksons , Tim , Lucy , Angela , Wesley , Wade , John , Bailey and Nyla .

It was kind of crowded since the place was small and cannot consume such amount of people .

Tim became showing her the food and the two mini refrigerators that they brought .

Everyone started handing their gifts to the mother and her baby boy .

" Wait , didnt captain Smith come too ? " Asked Wesley .

" You know her , she's just a woman who thinks that we don't know anything about her . Besides , she will start making negative comments all the time , we don't need that . " Wade explained .

There were murmurs of agreement , Bailey didn't say anything .

" Yesterday , she scolded me for writing ' eventually ' wrong , I bet she tipped her assistant to give her every mistake we make in our paperworks . " Nyla continued .

As they started laughing , they placed the plates on the table to start eating .

Olivia's P.O.V.

My heart shuttered to pieces as I heard their conversation from the open window .

I held the gift that i carefully brought for Angela and her newborn .

I got Angela two gifts , a glass heart that was divided from the middle into two pieces . It was Angela , Wesley and little Jackson where the couple was holding their baby in between them . Half of his body was on one side with Angela and the other was with his father .

The other gift was a basket that had some wine and fancy stuff that she can eat .

Something , an emotion , a strange one that I haven't experienced before filled me .

A half of the glass heart fell onto the floor from my hand , shuddering to pieces while the other stayed in my arms .

While taking my card that was a congratulating the new mother , I placed the remainings on her door steps . Not wanting anyone to know that it was from me .

Looking one last time at the happy people from the window , I slowly walked out , closing the gate behind me .

When I got into my black , large car , I finally snapped . I started punching every spot that cannot be damaged .

Seconds later , I fastly drove off from the house . Speeding like i was escaping from death himself .

Tim's P.O.V.

" Hey , did you see that ? " I asked after I noticed a giant black car that was parked at the same spot before a second fastly drive off .

Wade and John were the only people that heard and turned their eyes to meet me .

" See what ? " Wade asked as he folded his arms to his chest .

" A black car was in parked right there and drove away as soon as I looked to it . "
