After a very disappointing way to end Silver Puck Weekend last weekend, the Colgate Raiders head to Canton, New York to play the St. Lawrence Saints but not at Appleton Arena. Instead the two teams will play on the campus of SUNY Canton this evening. With 14:16 left in the first period, Ted McGeen scored to make it 1-0 Skating Saints. Mitch Benson and Emil Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 St. Lawrence it remains heading to the second period. With 18:37 left in the second period, Arnaud Vachon scored his third goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 12:22 left in the second period, Colton Young scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Colgate. Benson and Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate leads Don Vaughan's former team by a score of 2-1 heading to the third period. With 9:40 left in the third period, Bobby McMann scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-1 Hamiltonians. With 24 seconds left in the third period, Bobby McMann scored his second goal of the season, his second goal of the game to make it 4-1 Colgate! Mitch Benson finished a masterful 23 save performance and Colgate wins 4-1! Colgate improved to 3-5-3 on the season and 2-1-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
