With 6:02 left in the first period, Luke McInnis scored to make it 1-0 Boston College. Mitch Benson and Spencer Knight matched zeros for the remainder of the period so BC leads 1-0 heading to period number two. With 19:43 left in the second period, Logan Hutsko scored to make it 2-0 Eagles. Benson and Knight matched zeros for the remainder of period number two so the men from New England lead 2-0 after forty minutes of play. With 12:41 left in the third period, David Cotton scored to make it 3-0 Boston College. Spencer Knight finished off the 39 save shuout and Boston College wins 3-0. Colgate dropped to 0-3-0 on the season.
