After a disappointing loss last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders head to Big Rapids, Michigan to play the Ferris State Bulldogs in the great state of Michigan. With 13:16 left in the first period, Matt Verboon scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 5:32 left in the first period, Lucas Finner scored to tie the game 1-1. Mitch Benson and Ronni Salmenkangas matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to the second period. With 14:33 left in the third period, Joe Rutowski scored to make it 2-1 Ferris State. With 4 seconds left in the third period, Coale Norris scored to make it 3-1 Bulldogs. Roni Salmenkangas finished off the Raiders and Ferris State beats Colgate for the second consecutive game. Colgate dropped to 0-2-0 on the season.
