After blowing a 2-1 lead last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Columbus (Ohio that is) to play Ohio State one last time this evening. With 19:44 left in the first period, Quinn Preston scored to make it 1-0 Ohio State. Mitch Benson and Tommy Nappier matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 Buckeyes it remains heading to the second period. Benson and Nappier matched zeros in the second period so 1-0 Ohio State leads heading to the third period. With 18:41 left in the third period, Gordi Myer scored to make it 2-0 Buckeyes. With 2:41 left in the third period, Tate Singleton scored to make it 3-0 Ohio State. Tommy Nappier finished off the 25 save shutout and Ohio State beats Colgate 3-0. Colgate dropped to 7-9-4 on the season.
