After a pretty successful first half of the season, the Colgate Raiders head to Columbus, Ohio to play the Ohio State University Buckeyes in the Ohio State capital. With 16:45 left in the first period, Griffin Lunn scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-0 Raiders. With 8:09 left in the first period, Quinn Preston scored to tie the game 1-1. Andrew Farrier and Tommy Nappier matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remainder of the period so we remain tied 1-1 heading to the second period. With 18:10 left in the second period, Tyler Jeanson scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-1 Hamiltonians. With 11:02 left in the third period, Quinn Preston scored to tie the game 2-2. With 3:12 left in the third period, Tanner Laczynski scored to make it 3-2 Ohio State. Tommy Nappier finished off the Raiders and Ohio State wins in come from behind fashion by a score of 3-2. Colgate dropped to 7-8-4 on the season.
