After giving Lynah Rink a whale of a show, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena for the second time in three games as they play the Rensselaer Engineers and Union College this weekend on the campus of Colgate University. Andrew Farrier and Owen Savory matched zeros in the first period so no score heading to period number two. With 19:35 left in the second period, Jared Cockrell scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Raiders. With 7 minutes left in the second period, Brady Ferner scored to tie the game 1-1. With 5:26 left in the second period, Simon Kjellberg scored to make it 2-1 Rensselaer. Farrier and Savory matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 RPI leads heading to a crucial third period. With 7:33 left in the third period, Patrick Polino scored to make it 3-1 Engineers. With 46 seconds left in the third period, Rory Herman scored to make it 4-1 Rensselaer. Owen Savory finished off the Raiders and Rensselaer wins 4-1. Colgate dropped to 9-14-6 on the season and 7-7-3 in ECAC Hockey play.
