After another great performance by Andrew Farrier last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders head to Providence, Rhode Island to play the Brown University Bears this evening as the regular season continues to wind down. Andrew Farrier and Gavin Nieto matched zeros in the first period so no score heading to the second period. With 15:34 left in the second period, Colin Burston scored to make it 1-0 Bears. With 9:12 left in the second period, Trey Dodd scored to make it 2-0 Brown. With 7:59 left in the second period, Paul McAvoy scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Bruno. Farrier and Nieto matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 Bears remains our score heading to the third period. With 7:05 left in the third period, Cole Quisenberry scored to make it 3-1 Brown. Gavin Nieto shuts the Raiders down and Brown wins 3-1. Colgate dropped to 10-15-6 on the season and 8-8-3 in ECAC Hockey play.
