(My Brother and Patty)

A few days later Shaun called Dontae, bae told him he can call me and gave him my number, he wanted to talk to me some more, I told him sense it's the weekend I'll be home all day, he said he'll be here in an hour, I hung up.

The doorbell rang, I answered the door, it's mom Donna, damn I forgot all about her coming here today I just stared at her, she looked at me and said she had warmer welcomes from people who didn't like her, sorry mom I forgot you were coming over, she kissed me and walked in. She said the place looks wonderful and she's glad we cleaned up before the potential housekeepers come, she sat down and asked where's Sasha, I told her after we finished cleaning, he went to the store we're having a guest for dinner.

 Mom asked who's doing the cooking, I told her Dontae's going to put some steaks on the grill, she said that's why we need someone here to do the cooking, by the way she and gran are still waiting for an invitation to dinner. I told her we'll do it next weekend, and maybe by then we'll have a housekeeper, she said that will have to do.

She started going through the list of housekeepers, but my mind was on Shaun I wonder what he thinks of me, I thought about it shit why do I care. Mom asked did I hear what she said, sorry mom my mind was somewhere else, she said two of the women could be just what we need, she showed me their resumes, I went over them. 

The doorbell rang, I got up and answered the door, this woman said she's here to see Mr. and Mrs. Williams, I told her I'm one of the Mr. Williams she looked at me, I said come in she walked in I told her this is Mrs. Williams my mother-in-law. The other Mr. Williams isn't here yet, he's my husband, please have a seat, mom asked her does she mind working for a same sex couple, she said what we're doing is an abomination to God.

Mom got up and thanked her for coming, she told her we won't be calling her, mom showed her to the door, and slammed the door behind her, mom said that bitch doesn't disrespect her sons. The bell rang again, mom said she'll get it and just ask the woman how she feels about gay people, so we won't waste our time.

Mom said she doesn't remember a man on her list, I heard a voice say sorry ma'am I don't know what list she's talking about, he's here to see me, I walked to the door it's Shaun. I told mom he's here for me, I told Shaun to come in and introduced him to mom, the doorbell rang again mom said she'll get it, I asked her to talk to the woman, I don't know what kind of questions to ask anyway.

I told Shaun to come outback with me, I asked him could I get him something, he said he's fine, we went out back and we sat down, I apologized to Shaun about the last time he was here, he said no problem and shook his head. He said seeing my ass he didn't expect, but anyway let's talk about the Dave's, what can I tell him about them.

 I told him what I knew and about old man Dave's how we met and him giving me candy and as I got older condoms, he laughed, I told him I told him all I knew, now answer me a question, he said ask. I asked him how he feels about people who are different like me.

Sasha, when you say different do you mean gay, he said yes, that's what he means, Sasha I'm bisexual, so I have no problem with people that you call different, he said the way I talked about our sperm donor he assumed I was straight. I smiled and told him I just didn't like Darnell Dave's, by the way you and Dontae make a nice-looking couple.

 I did tell Shaun that Mr. Dave's left me his money when he died, I'll share it with him, he told me no need his dad that cared about him left him very well off. I asked him if he's sure, he said yes, I spent time with the old man I deserve it, I asked him to stay for dinner, he said yeah, he can do that.

So, Shaun how long will you be in town, he said he's leaving tomorrow night, Dontae came out and said so we finally met up, I told him Shaun's staying for dinner, bae said cool he brought extra steaks in case Patty brings someone with her. I told Shaun, Patty is a friend of ours, bae said mom is talking to a Ms. Parker, she wanted me to come in and see if she's the one for us, he already likes her and said she's fine with him.
