In a pained and silent whisper, he asked, “What about you? What about your life? Will you keep running forever?”.Tears welled up in her eyes as she replied, her voice trembling, "I don't know. I don't know what I will do with my life. But all I know is I can't let even a single danger come your way, something that might hurt you or your family. Only that I know."
As he stood there, struggling to keep his emotions in check, she took a deep breath and continued, "I'll go away before your marriage. I've already started looking for a place."
He was stunned by her words, a surge of deep anger arised within him. "How can you even think of going away?" he demanded, his voice shaking with anger. "How can you think that I will let you go when there's so much danger looming over you?"
She looked at him for a moment, her eyes filled with sadness and resignation. "And where will you keep me after your marriage?" she asked softly. "When your wife will share the same room with you?"
He stepped closer, gripping her shoulders with a desperate intensity. “No one is coming in this room and no one is coming in my life. Tell me who it is?? I’ll protect you !! I’ll find him and make sure he pays for everything he’s done to you.”
Her voice trembled with fear as she replied, "You... you don’t understand. I can assure you that you don’t need to find him...you don't need to find that man because he’s already looking for me. For us. He could find us any day now. You have no idea how powerful that man is."
The frustration and helplessness overwhelmed him. He moved away from her, fists clenched at his sides, as he screamed in frustration "But I can't just stand by and do nothing. I need to help you."
She shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "You can't fight him. He's too powerful. I can't let you get hurt because of me."
"But I can't" he whispered,
His voice broke as he pleaded, “But I can’t lose you. If I have to break off my engagement to keep you safe, I will.”She shook her head, her own heart breaking. "I know but I can't let you ruin your future because of me. Please, understand."
He looked at her with fierce determination. “I don’t care about my future if you’re not safe. I’ll deal with whatever may come. But i need you to promise me that you’ll stay with me while I figure this problem out.”
She stared at him, her heart shattering. “ please I don’t know if I can stay.”
He shook his head, tears welling in his eyes. “I don’t care. I can’t stand the thought of you being alone in this. I need to protect you, even if it means losing everything else.”
She looked at him with tearful eyes, her voice trembling. “I understand your feelings to protect me, but please, don’t make any hasty decisions. Don’t break off your engagement just because of me."
Her heart broke as she whispered, “You don’t have to make a decision right now. Just promise me that you’ll think carefully about it. Whatever happens, please make sure it’s what’s right for you and your future.”
He pulled her into a tight embrace, his voice choked with emotion. “I promise. I’ll think about it, and I’ll let you know my decision. But right now, all I want is to know you’re safe.”
She nodded, understanding the weight of his words. "Take all the time you need," she whispered, her heart aching with every beat.

The room was dimly lit, dark shadows on the grey walls as his deep voice cut through the silence. “Was she in the house when you were there?” he asked, his tone cold and frightening
His man shook his head, frustration present in his voice. “We didn’t find any trace of her in their home, sir”
His eyes tensed, a anger reflecting in his gaze. “Keep searching,” he said, his voice dripping with threatning power. “I know she’s with him—the man my sister is marrying. She won’t stay hidden forever.”
His words were so chillingly certain that there was no doubt he was determined to find her and make those who helped her suffer.
