Ashley's POV

My eyes were glued to the limp girl on the floor. Klaus' sister! He just... Snapped her neck without a second thought. Though, this wasn't what had frightened me the most. The thing that frightened me the most was the pure evil that masked his perfect face, as he killed his younger sister without a care in the world. Who does that?

"Ashley", my name rolled off his tongue like a lullaby.

"Who are you?" I barely whispered. Was he a monster all along? Was I just too blind to see it? All those warnings I had and I just swept them under the carpet, ignoring the people around me.

"Ashley, this isn't..." Before he could finish his sentence my back hit a hard chest from behind. I whipped around only to be faced with another shock for tonight. Well, this one wasn't that much of a shock considering I already knew he'd be in Mystic Falls tonight.

"George?"

"Ashley", his quick welcoming was.

"Who in God's name are you?" Klaus stepped forward so he was half in front of me. "And who invited you in?"

"Klaus Mikaelson. It's been a long time", was George's reply.

They knew each other?!

"You know him?", I whispered in Klaus' ear.

"If I do, then I don't recall our introduction", Klaus trained his eyes on the man in front of us.

"Of course you wouldn't recall it", George waved off. "It was a very long time ago."

"Perhaps you could enlighten me then", I could hear roughness growing in Klaus' voice, he was growing impatient.

George's stare flickered to me but landed straight back on Klaus, "You wouldn't remember even if I told you. We were merely just acquainted."

"So if we are merely just acquainted, then why exactly are you standing in my house?"

"Aren't you supposed to be back at the hotel?" George changed the subject, and directed his question to me.

Klaus watched me from the corner of his eye, "Hotel?" Then his whole body went rigid next to mine. "You and him?"

"What?! No! What do you take me for?" I couldn't hide the disgust in my tone.

Klaus dragged his hand through his hair, "Skip these petty games and tell me already. I have things to be getting on with, such as washing my hair", he threw a sarcastic comment towards George.

"Perhaps we should talk alone?" George shot a glance at me. He seemed a little nervous and it didn't suit him.

"Whatever you have to say can be said in front of her, just spit it out."

He glared back at Klaus, "Okay. My name is George, alpha of my pack."

"Good for you", Klaus paid little attention.

"My name is George..."

"Yes, we've been through that already", Klaus cut in.

"You didn't let me finish. My name is George... Mikaelson."

Okay, didn't see that coming... At all. What the fudge!? Another Mikaelson? I couldn't keep up with this family.

The room was filled with an awkward silence before Klaus blurted out a humorous laugh.

"You can't be serious!" He laughed some more.

"I'm deadly serious", George returned.

"You're lying. I know who my family are and you're not one of them!" Klaus spat.
