Klaus' POV

I strolled back into the cave where Bonnie was stood watching my original, and now desiccated body.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"

Bonnie spun around to look at me, her eyes sweeping across Tyler's body with disapproval. She obviously didn't find Tyler physically attracted, I thought with humour.

"What is that doing here, Klaus? The deal I made with Tyler was that you'd leave his body and jump into someone else's the first chance you got."

"But I'm having so much fun playing Tyler. Plus he possesses the strength of a hybrid, which works out nicely for me." I stand over my original body, however, my hard eyes are focused on the witch beside me. "Put me back."

I had things to do, people to kill, starting with the Scooby gang, leaving her till last. It had to be done. I had a nasty feeling that she took part in all of this.

"I can't right now", she jutted out her chin.

"Your history teacher outed Tyler and Caroline to the council. They're on a war path and this body's vulnerable."

"I have to help Elena before she has to feed", Bonnie stood her ground for her best friend.

"Elena's dead and no longer my concern", I waved off. She meant nothing to me now.

"You're forgetting who just saved your life."

I grabbed the annoying little witch by the throat, and squeezed a little, showing her how easy it would be to end her pathetic little life. "And you're forgetting that I could rip your tongue out. Now put me back."

"If I can keep Elena human, you'll still have an endless blood supply to make your hybrids. Isn't that what you really want?" Bonnie croaked out.

No! What I really wanted was to take my revenge on everyone and anyone who took part in this plan. However, the thing I truly wanted above anything else was to find Ashley. When I lay eyes on her, I didn't know what I expected to do with her next. Would I kill her? Want her even more than I did before? Or could I walk away from that beautiful creature, and let her live a safe life full of freedom and joy?

"Same rules apply. No one knows. No one", I repeated. "Do you understand me, Bonnie?"

Ashley's POV

"You there now? And he isn't? Bloody hell", Raymond spoke down the phone. "So what now? Okay, cool. Bye."

"Was that George?", I asked.

"No, that was Jack."

"Well, what did he say?"

"They've just arrived at Klaus' mansion, and nobody's there apart from his sister, Rebekah", Raymond dragged his hands through his hair, frustrated at this news.

"Is that where you were supposed to be meeting him. His place?"

"That was the plan."

A thought came to my head, an idea, a plan to get out of here. All I needed was a little distraction for Raymond, but what?

"Oops, looks like we're all out of goodies to scoff. I'll go get us some more", I innocently suggested.

Just as I leaned forward to climb out of the bed, Raymond's hand latched onto my upper arm and pulled me back down. "I'll go", he blew out a heavy sigh. "Damn, you eat like a pig."

I laughed and thanked him, as he dragged his feet out of the room. Once I was sure he had left the hotel suite, I ran to peek down each side of the corridors where Raymond had just disappeared to. My eyes latched onto Raymond's back just as he turned the corner. Now, all I needed to do was get to the hotel stairs, and out of this prison. I closed the door behind me and bounded across the hall, heading straight for the exit door that lead to the stairway.
