"So let me get this straight..." Michael raised his eyebrow at me. "You looked at the locket even though I asked for you not to, then you were angry that I wasn't telling you that I love you..."
"Pretty much," I sigh, cuddling further in his arms. "I'm sorry I overreacted. I should've understood that you weren't ready to tell me that."
Michael shakes his head. "It wasn't that I wasn't ready... Well it was kinda that, but I scared to tell you 'cause I thought it was too early to say 'I love you' since we've only been on two dates."
"Aw, Michael..." I cooed. "I don't think there's a specific time to say 'I love you.' As long as you feel it, you can say it."
He kisses my forehead. "So when did you realized that you love me?"
"I think I've loved you forever. Even when we didn't know each other yet, although that sounds impossible and strange. But when I watched you on stage singing The Only Reason, I realized that I love you and if there was ever a time I didn't - that means I'm dead. But even if I do die, I'll still find a way to love you."
"I never want you to die," he mumbles into my skin. "Let's be immortal."
I giggled. "Don't think that's how it works, kitten. So... when did you realize that you love me?"
Michael ponders for a moment as I was cradled into his chest. "I have loved you from the moment you stepped inside, and the moment you showed care for me. No girl I have ever been with cared about me, they only wanted to fuck me over. But Mia, you made me feel alive and had me thinking about you for hours and seeing you hurt killed me and God princess I love you."
I smiled. "I love you, kitten."
"I love you too, princess," he replies softly.
"Remember the first time you told me 'There's no Kitten without his Princess?'" I chuckled softly.
"And you were like 'Nobody says that.' From then on I became so determined to make that happen," Michael says. "I wanted to start a story of our own."
"You want to start a story with me?" I raised my eyebrow, sitting up so I could look at his entire face although it was dark.
"Of course. A book where everybody fucking lives, and we'll grow old and die together. I don't want to die without you, Mia."
We both smile, and a yawn escapes my lips. "It's one in the morning, we should sleep," I suggested.
Michael nodded. "Yeah, it's 1AM and I love you. Soon it'll be 2AM and I'll still love you."
-
The alarm blares out a loud sound, and my eyes immediately shoot open. I sit up and glanced at Michael, who was still asleep and unaffected by the alarm. What the hell?
I shut the alarm off and began shaking him. "Wake up... Wake up... WAKE UP!"
His eyes flutter open and he smiles as soon as he sees me. He sits up and gives me a kiss on the lips. "Thank God I have you. I would've still been asleep if you weren't here."
"I love how an alarm doesn't wake you up, but the sound of my voice does," I huff.
"I should call the company of this alarm and suggest that they use your voice instead," he jokes, smirking at me.
I slightly shove him and laughed. "Not funny."
"You laughed," he points out.
I rolled my eyes. "C'mon, we gotta get ready before the tour bus comes."
