"It's been a while," Melody commented, after an uncomfortable amount of silence.

Michael sighed. "Why did you leave, Melody?"

She giggled. "Isn't it obvious, Mikey?"

Michael flinched and gripped my hand. "Don't call me Mikey until you give me a reasonable explanation as to why you left."

Melody frowned. "I didn't mean to leave you... You have a problem with people leaving you, don't you?"

"Obviously."

"I left because I was like Mia," Melody said. "I pretended to be a fake fangirl and they caught me, so they took me away. I've been escaping and I had gone to your concert in Italy, but I didn't say hello because I knew you would be mad... I'm so sorry, Michael, I didn't mean to hurt you."

Michael stayed quiet, taking in her explanation. Finally he spoke, "I guess I understand, but one phone call to tell me you were alive would've been great."

She shrugged. "I was too busy escaping from these psychotic Fangirls to buy a phone and call you."

Michael left my side and walked over to Melody, giving her a side hug. "It feels good to be reunited."

I smiled at the two of them, relieved that their feud has died down. That still doesn't fix the horrible tension between Michael and Luke, but I don't blame him. I hadn't even forgiven Luke yet, how could I expect Michael to?

Michael returned to me and pulled me into his chest, putting his head in the spot between my shoulder and neck. "And you... I have a lot of catching up to do with you."

I grinned. "I can't wait."

"Please, don't catch up that much," Calum says, crinkling his nose in disgust. "We're all locked up in the same cell, must I remind you."

We all laughed and Michael and I went to the far corner. I cuddled up to him and he sighs blissfully; we were comfortable despite the fact that we were in a cell and fucking scared.

"I promise you no more lies," I whispered to him as he kissed my cheek.

"And I promise to be more understanding," he replies.

"So yeah... I should tell you that all the captives are forming a Fake Fangirl Rebellion," I tell him quietly. "We're planning to take them down for good."

"We're?" Michael raises his eyebrow. "Including you?"

I nodded. "Yes."

"Mia," Michael says, sounding concerned. "That sounds dangerous..."

"I know..." I replied. "I was reluctant at first, but then I saw my mother crying and scared and I didn't like that..."

"I thought you and your parents aren't talking?" he said, confused.

"They were forced by Savannah to turn me away," I explained. "They're right over there."

I pointed to where they were sitting and Michael stood up, grabbing my hand and dragging me along with him. We walked over to where they were and Michael cleared his throat, getting their attention.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Bladden," Michael greets properly, making me giggle softly. "I'm Michael, Mia's boyfriend."

My mom let out a small squeal, standing up and giving him a tight hug. "It's so nice to meet you! Mia's first boyfriend."

Michael smirks at me as my mom lets go, and I blushed. "Mom..." I groaned.

My dad went a shook his hand, and I was a little scared that he might give him the stupid ol' "break my little girl's heart and I'll rip out your bones" speech. But instead, my dad just smiled sweetly at Michael and said, "Welcome to the family, Mike."
