It was as though Michael had glued himself to me - he might as well have done so, since he refuses to leave my side ever since the attack from early in the morning.

We all sat in the living room in the seat, a boring movie playing on the screen. I yawned and leaned against Michael's shoulder, disbelieving that it was already dark outside. Ashton and Luke was already asleep on the couch while Calum was awake with Michael and I, still keeping his eyes on the movie.

"I'm going to the bathroom Mia," Michael whispers in my ear.

"Okay," I said, noticing the exhaustion in his voice. "It's alright if you went to bed - I'll be fine out here."

He gives me an unsure look and I mentally roll my eyes, leaning forwards to give him a small kiss on the lips. He smiles at me and mumbles a "goodnight princess" before walking out of the living room.

As soon as he leaves, Calum looks at me. "Mia, I have to ask you something."

"What is it?" I questioned, bringing my knees up against my chest.

"Well, it was about earlier with the situation," he says. "You and Ashton were discussing something and you said something about Savannah giving you a fake name to protect you which was the reason the intruder was there..."

My eyes widened. "Oh."

"What were you talking about?" he asked, sitting closer to me.

"Um, I can't tell you," I muttered. "It's a secret."

Calum groaned. "Mia, we were almost killed for fuck's sake. I think I deserve an explanation if you were somehow involved with the intruder."

"It's a long story," I told him.

"I've got time," he stated.

I rolled my eyes. "But Calum, you cannot tell anyone - you can't tell your family, nor Luke and Michael."

"What about Ashton?"

"He already knows."

"Oh." He gives me a dumbfounded look.

"Can I trust you?" I ask him.

"Of course. Why wouldn't you trust me?" Calum chuckled.

I give him an "are-you-kidding-me" look and he laughs, glancing down at his lap.

"You can trust me with secrets," he clarifies. "I'm good at keeping secrets."

"By telling you this I could be putting you in danger," I warned him. "Do you still want to know?"

"Please. My middle name is danger," he winks.

"Your middle name is Thomas," I laughed. "Don't even try."

"Just tell me," he rolls his eyes.

"Okay. Well, you know how this whole thing started right?" I begin. "That my country banned me from there for being a 'fake fangirl' and sent me to you guys?"

He nodded. "Yes."

"Well, I wasn't actually a fake fangirl," I tell him, waiting for his reaction.

"No shit," he snorted.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"All four of us knew you weren't actually a fake fangirl," he says, rolling his eyes at me. "Hell, you weren't even a fan. You made it quite obvious, for an intelligent girl."

"Well now I feel stupid," I said, feeling both my cheeks going red.

Calum smirked. "That's because you are."
