The day flew by quickly, giving me another enjoyment of a 5 Seconds of Summer concert. We had explored together a little bit, appreciating the beautiful weather and views of Rome, but soon it was dark outside and now we were headed to England.
"So how does the tour bus get transferred from country to country?" I find myself asking as we stood in line at the security check.
Ashton sighs, giving me a tired look. "I don't know, Mia."
"I bet they latch it onto a helicopter," I continued to ramble. "And then they fly it overseas with it hanging below-"
"Michael, tell your girlfriend to shut up," Calum groaned.
Michael rolled his eyes. "Mia, I'm pretty sure a helicopter wouldn't be able to pick up a tour bus."
"Sorry, I guess the exhaustion is making me a little delirious," I say with a yawn.
"Clearly," Ashton huffed.
Luke swatted Ashton's arm. "Don't be rude, Ash!"
"Ashton gets in bad moods when he's tired," Calum tells me sleepily.
"Don't we all," I muttered, leaning my head against Michael's chest.
I wasn't tired at all, however. I was filled with nerves. How was I supposed to sneak into that London meeting without the boys knowing? What if I get caught?
I shook my head, deciding to think about it later.
Once going through security check and finally settling onto the private jet, I cuddled into Michael. I let out a deep breath as soon as I could hear the sound of his heart beating. As long as his heart was beating, mine would be too.
"Are you okay, Mia?" Michael asked suddenly, stirring me away from my thoughts.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I chuckled.
"You've just seemed on edge for a while," he replies. "You act like someone's out to get you."
"Well, with the way Ashton snapped at me, I think there is," I joked.
"Mia..."
"Michael, I'm fine," I said, sitting upwards so I could look into his eyes. "I promise."
I wanted nothing more but to tell him everything. But the number one thought in my mind was to not put him in any danger.
If I told you every thought in mind, would you think I'm crazy? Would you be angry I was lying when I told you I was fine? Would you help me, or leave me for dead? Being without you is worse than being dead. If you're not here I have no power.
"Are you sure?" Michael raised his eyebrow at me, and I swear to God he could read my mind.
"Yes," I groaned. "Are you okay?"
"Of course," he mumbles, pulling me into his chest again. "I mean I'm on tour with my best mates, visiting beautiful countries, and living my dream. On top of that, I have you. I'm happy, princess, don't worry about me."
"Then don't worry about me, kitten," I cooed, feeling my eyes beginning to shut.
"I love you, princess," he says before I could fall asleep. "Just remember that if you need anything, I'm here."

The airport was practically empty, and I was thankful for it. I guess fans from England aren't expecting 5 Seconds of Summer to be into their country at this time. The boys sure do love doing the unexpected.
"Hey, what day is it?" Luke asked, standing beside me.
I gaped at him. "You don't know what day it is?"
