Chapter 11

"Ugh! No!" - I groaned and wiped my hands on my face. I reach for the laptop and close it with a thud, not minding if it gets broken because I can buy a new one any time I want.

I ruffle my hair and stand up to walk back and forth in my room. I can't sleep properly because of Quinn and the feelings that have been bothering me the whole night.

I am attracted to her physically, but after reading what's on Google, I just want to bump my head for not realizing it sooner.

It's not been hate all along. It's because I really like her, and I just want her all for myself. That's so messed up! That's why I can't stomach the fact that she has a crush on Kuya, because I was jealous of the idea that she's not attracted to me.

Dito lang ako umamin. Ayaw ko sa personal baka bigla kaming mag divorce.

Sumikat na ang araw pero mulat pa rin ako. Feeling ko tuloy ang laki ng eye bags ko at ang lutang ko ngayon.

"Good morning, ma'am." - bati ng maids pagkababa ko ng hagdanan.

"Morning." - matamlay kong sagot at humikab. Nakapantulog pa ako sa lagay na ito dahil tinamad ako magpalit. Balak ko lang kasi ay matulog maghapon kaya lang kumalam na ang sikmura ko.

Nahinto ako sa pag hakbang ko papunta sa dining area dahil sa tunog ng takong na narinig ko. Paglingon ko sa hagdan ay nakita ko si Quinn na naglalakad pababa. Maayos na naka lugay ang buhok nito at naka dress ng kulay black na umabot hanggang kalahati ng hita nya. May blazer din sya na naka patong sa balikat at may hawak na handbag.

Sabay sabay syang binati ng maids namin at bumati din sya sa mga ito habang nakangiti. Nang dumako ang tingin nya sa akin ay gusto ko nalang mag palamon sa lupa dahil sa kaibahan namin ng itsura ngayon.

Mukha akong batang yagit tapos sya fresh na fresh na parang walang nangyari kagabi.

"Why are you still in your pajamas? Aren't you coming with me?"

"May lakad tayo? Saan naman?"

She crossed her arms and cocked her head to the side.

"I'm going to visit the commercial space I've been eyeing for awhile now to build a new branch of the restaurant."

"Am I needed there?"

She rubbed her temple and sighed. "Of course. You're my partner."

She walked past me, leaving a trail of her tempting scent in the air. I follow her into the dining area, and we sit across from each other while the maids serve us our breakfast.

"I'm planning to rest today." - I said to open up a conversation.

She stopped eating. "Why? You didn't sleep last night?"

"Yeah, how about you? Nakatulog ka?"

"Yeah, I slept well last night." - she abruptly said without blinking.

Naningkit ang mga mata ko. She's acting as if she didn't know what happened last night.

"O edi wow. Sana all no?" - I cleared my throat and drank my water. I even pull the neckline of my clothes to breathe.

I saw in my peripheral vision that she was still staring at me, but I didn't even bother to glance back. I finished my food and quickly stood up, which made her raise her brow.

"You're in a hurry to leave me here?" - there's a distaste in her tone.

"No. Maliligo pa kasi ako. Ma iintay mo ba ako?" - seryosong sambit ko at kinuyom ang mga kamay ko sa gilid ko.
