I'm smiling throughout the dinner, especially when I unexpectedly received a bouquet of flowers from Heidi. It was delivered just right outside the restaurant. She said in the letter that she's out of the country and doing a major project; that's why she's not here to celebrate with me. As a friend, I messaged her that it's okay.

"Aren't you done admiring the flowers?" - I heard my wife's voice.

I lift my eyes to her, and my smile falters a bit when I see her cold look. She was just smiling earlier when my siblings were still here, but now it's different.

"They're beautiful."

"Oh, how about my surprise naman?" - she asked, caressing the wine glass in front of her.

"Ah, you did great for surprising me." - I said and gave her a thumbs up. I mean it. She really surprised me in a sense that I never thought she could do such effort.

She groans and shakes her head. My eyes followed her when she stood up and walked to the counter to talk to her staff. She's explaining something to them, and when she's done, I see her walking gracefully back to me.

"Let's go home. My body wants to rest." - her voice is flat.

I want to remember every detail of her face tonight, especially her eyes. Her eyes are so good at hiding her emotions. It's always blank. Sa sobrang pag titig ko sa kanya ay hindi ko namalayan na sobrang lapit ko na pala sa kanya.

"My people are  watching.." - she whispered and held my arms. "Umuwi na tayo."

I pull her more and a light gasp escapes from her lips when I hug her tight.

"I appreciate what you've done today for me," - I said, and I buried my face on the crook of her neck. "My heart is so happy that I get to share this special day with you. Akala ko talaga hindi ka uuwi para sa akin."

"Rae..."

I pull back and touch her face. I kiss her nose and smile at her, not minding her confused expression. I want to say what my heart is shouting from the moment I laid eyes on her in the gymnasium.

"Para lang alam mo ikaw ang pinaka gusto ko sa lahat ng nangyari sa akin ngayon. Hindi ko 'to makakalimutan."

I kiss her again, but this time on her soft cheek, and embrace her again like it's the last time.

The scenery starts to get blurry. My vision is no longer clear, and as much as I tried to reach out to her, she's slowly drifting away.

I'll always like you, Quinn Rosalie Laurent.

A loud gasp escapes from my lips. I got up from the bed and looked around the quiet room. I was catching my breath and wiping my face using my hands.

It's been a year since I left home and lived on my own while learning and training how to handle our business, but I'm always having the same dream every time I sleep. It's always my last moment with her.

We haven't talked since our mutual decision to live separately, and I avoided using social media as well so I wouldn't lose my focus. But since she's a big name, a star, if I may say, I couldn't avoid hearing rumors from other people when I'm going out to unwind. Sometimes even at cafes when the television is on and the news is about celebrities.

I think her latest issue was about dating Elliott Silverado. A famous footballer because, according to the news, the two were seen in the same place, and Quinn watching the game with her model friends added more fuel to the fire that she was the secret girl the guy was telling the media. But rumors will remain rumors without confirmation from both sides, and besides, it's up to her if she'll cheat even though our feelings aren't mutual in the first place.
