Chapter 17

She kissed me.

I mean, no. She just gave me a quick peck on the lips. Too quick that I didn't even feel her.

Parang dumampi lang ng isang segundo tapos wala na.

"That's not a kiss." - I seriously muttered, looking down on her. "Even a toddler can give me something like that.

She pushed my shoulders, but I didn't move an inch and just put half of my weight on her.

"It's still a kiss, Rae. Now get off me and sleep." - her voice was full of restraint. She really wants to get away from me.

"You can't do it with me because I'm not him, am I right?"

She scoffs, "Stop being ridiculous. Get off."

Dahil wala akong gana lumaban ay naitulak nya ako paalis sa ibabaw nya. Naupo sya at sinuklay ang buhok nya. Nanatili akong tahimik habang hawak ang labi ko.

She fixes her clothes and stands up silently.

"You didn't give me what I want," - I said, staring at her silhouette. "I see, you're lying when you told me I can ask you about what I'm curious about."
 
"Enough. You're under the influence of alcohol. I don't want to do it if you're like this."

"But I'm not drunk!" - giit ko sa kanya.

"Pero uminom ka pa din. Please, matulog ka nalang, hmm?" - yung boses nya kaunti nalang mabubwiset na yung tono.

Well, I appreciate her concern, but the last line that she doesn't want to do it if I'm like this brought chaos to my mind.
 
"You'll do it if I'm sober?"

"I don't know. Can you please stop asking and just go to bed?" - her voice is clearly sounding defeated. If I push the button more, I know she'll explode.

Hindi na ako nakipagtalo at umalis nalang sa harapan nya. Kinuha ko yung damit ko na pinagbihisan ko kanina at tumungo sa pinto ng kwarto nya.

"You're leaving me?" - Her question made me stop twisting the doorknob. My feet got glued on the floor, and I couldn't face her even though I know that she's just standing a few feet behind my back.

"I'll just sleep in my room. The atmosphere here is not good."

"My bed is big enough for both of us. Are you throwing tantrums now because I didn't kiss you for real?"

I chuckled and faced her. I lean my back on her door and tighten my hold on my clothes.

"You're so full of yourself, Quinn. I'm not craving for it, and if I'm with someone else right now, I'll probably ask them too to kiss me so that I would know what it feels like when someone's taking your breath away."

She opens the lights in her room, and the sudden spread of light makes me shut my eyes for a moment. The lights hurt my eyes, but what surprises me more is her. 

She's staring intently at me. Too fierce to look at.

"Stay." - she spoke lowly and pulled her nighties apart, showing some more skin. 

I gasp at the sight; I almost see something forbidden! Damn her!

"Come here and let me take your breath away." - After saying that, she turned around and combed her hair, leaving me shocked when her nighties fell on the floor. She's half naked now.

"F*ck!" - I whispered, watching her sexy back. Literal na mauubusan ako dito ng hangin sa ginagawa nya e. But this is not what I wanted from her, even though I told myself before that maybe I was only attracted to her because she's sexy.
