Chapter - 13

"But I will not marry, why can't you people understand this?" Taehyung yelled when his elder brother refused to listen to him and asked his wife to make coffee for him. Seeing this, Taehyung looked at him in disbelief... here he is yelling, but there his brother is behaving as if he does not exist.

After picking up Soo Hee from school, he went straight toward his hyung's house, where he was back with his wife.

"Hyung!!" The boy yelled again, but just to get ignored by his elder brother.

"Okay fine! Then I'll talk to Namjoon. I'm sure he'll listen to me!!" Taehyung said angrily and started to walk out of the house when his brother stopped him.

"Don't you dare, Taehyung!" Dae-Hyun said angrily and grabbed Taehyung's wrist tightly, who was looking at his hyung with the same anger.

"Then stop all this! I don't want to get married!! Why are you forcing me?!" Taehyung said.

"Do you ever realize how much you have grown? You are twenty-nine, soon to be thirty, and do you think anyone will be interested in you after that?!" His brother hit back.

Hearing this, Taehyung looked away from his brother and said bitterly, "Why don’t you just say it? Say it to my face that you disgust me!!"

Dae-Hyun twisted his wrist hard, causing Taehyung to scream in pain. "You're hurting me, hyung!!" He tried to pull his hand out of that tight grip.

Dae-Hyun glared at him with hateful eyes and said, "Yes, I hate you! Because of the way you are. I still can't believe that my own brother is half woman!!" Taehyung now looked at his hyung with teary eyes. He tries so hard to never let his words affect him, but in the end, he fails. Those words still hurt him, after all, it’s from his dearest person, someone whom he loved very much and was loved by.

Suddenly, a woman came out of the kitchen, and her eyes widened when she saw her husband and her brother-in-law. She quickly ran to them and caught hold of her husband. "Leave him, Dae-Hyun, you're hurting him!"

Dae-Hyun yanked his brother's wrist hard and gave him a death stare. Taehyung held his painful wrist with slightly teary eyes.

"And what about you, Taehyung?! Can't you see your brother doing all this just for you?! But still, you came to argue with him?!" An angry Aera shouted at the crying boy, who looked at her.

"But I don't want to get married!! Why is it so difficult for both of you to understand?!"

Hearing this again, Dae-Hyun pushed his wife, who looked at him confused. "Dae—" But before she could finish her sentence, her husband slapped his brother, who closed his eyes as he grabbed his cheeks painfully. It wasn’t shocking to him... he was used to it.

"If you say that again, I swear to God, I will k¡ll you!!" Dae-Hyun said with burning eyes. Seeing her husband like this, Aera grabbed him and pulled him away from the crying boy. "Dae-Hyun, control yourself," she tried to calm her husband's anger, which didn’t seem easy.

"What control, Aera?! Here we are working hard to make his life easier, but he is not ready to understand our efforts!"

"What efforts, huh? What efforts?" Taehyung said in a low voice with a broken smile on his face. This time, his brother is talking about efforts. Oh, actually, he wants to know what efforts he really made for him.

"You're running your mouth again—" Dae-Hyun got ready to throw his hand at him again but stopped when his wife caught him. "Stop it, Dae-Hyun. You can't hit him like this!!" Aera said, stopping her husband before looking at Taehyung.
