Author note: I probably won't be doing a first person POV as much as I used to since I found it to be a bit cringey and the writing didn't sound as mature as I wished it to be. It didn't sound as appealing and I felt as if it wasn't very entertaining to read my fanfics as when they were in first person.
Not to say I won't ever do it again because I will but I won't do first person only.
Reminder if you want me to do other fanfics of other shows I will look into the anime and do it. I think that I can confidently do black clover, inuyasha and maybe bleach though I still have to finish watching bleach I might be able to do MHA though I don't wanna be in it's toxic fandom, I can still try to do it and if it doesn't work out I won't do MHA. I haven't watch much one piece, dragon ball or demon slayer I don't remember enough about naruto and hunterXhunter but I'll try to rewatch them.

A quote I had thought of a while ago: "Even Frogs get princesses too."

Chapter 3.

Everybody was shocked, not of Meliodas suddenly having some sort of outburst attacking Hawks but rather breaking down and crying. Everyone went silent. Elizabeth had carried Hawks back after healing him. Elizabeth went over and sat next to Meliodas. She had wrapped her arms around him and he slowly fell into her lap. Meliodas had always held it in. He was always so positive unless it came to protecting Elizabeth, and he had never cried in front of them before. Meliodas had never cried in front of the sins before. Never.

It took a moment for Meliodas to collect his bearings. 'They may not be here with me in the future but they are here for me right now.' He had thought. Was it worth lying to him? Would it make them hate him more? Meliodas's sobbing had became soft sniffles. "Sir Meliodas?" Elizabeth asked. He raised his head and looked at Elizabeth.

His eyes were sad and pink. "What's wrong?" Diane, the girl with brown hair and purple eyes had asked. Meliodas shivered into Elizabeth's lap. Elizabeth looked down at him with sadness in her eyes. "It's okay if you don't wanna tell us right away." Elizabeth exclaimed. Elizabeth wouldn't be forceful with anybody if they didn't want to do anything unlike Diane who can be pushy. Elizabeth was very patient and nice in some ways she can be naive.

"Captain tell us what's wrong, you don't usually just attack hawks and start crying afterwards after having a nightmare." Diane said, she knew that it was an emergency after all these years of knowing Meliodas she knew this wasn't normal behavior. Sure at times he would have outburst but that was rarely and it only happened with the incident with Ban and when Elizabeth is in trouble. He never once acted like that when we were in trouble. 'Nobody knows much about Meliodas, his origin or where he came from or even his race, he looks human but his powers don't seem human at all.' Diane thought. King was on his pillow observing the situation ready to intervene when something happened.

Meliodas was gonna say something but he hesitated. He stayed quiet for a while. "It's about Dreyfus." Meliodas said. His voice was soft and quiet almost timid. "Yeah I'm still a bit shaken up over what happened too." Diane added. Meliodas shook his head. "No, the real reason why they wanted Elizabeth was for her Druid blood." Meliodas stated. "Why would they want Elizabeth's blood?" King asked.
Meliodas had stiffened he began having flash backs of what happened in Danafall. He had to be careful to not remind Elizabeth of her past or her actual powers or what she was. Because if she did remember. Within 3 days, she would die. Meliodas didn't know long long he would last but if she died again it would absolutely break him.

Yeah it's true that she would reincarnate but she would lose all her memories, her memories of him and all the good memories they had together. He had watched her die hundreds of times. Watched her die in a fire, stabbed to death old age, all you could think of. Everytime she died a piece of him broke. A piece of him left. A piece of him was gone. His father intended for this to happen until he couldn't feel anything including his love for her, or until it killed him, everytime Meliodas died, is when he also lost a part of himself. A part of himself he couldn't get back.

"To start another Holy War." Meliodas said breaking out of his head. He stood up and began walking away.

He needed to clear his head. He wanted to clear his head he didn't like to feel this way. Meliodas fears being alone he hates being alone. He's always felt lonely the only time he hasn't felt lonely was when he was with Elizabeth before her deaths. Meliodas went to a lake to wash off his sweat and clear his mind.

He either tells the sins everything and they hate him, they get it they get killed by going off alone after they disband or kick him out of the group. Or he can come up with a stupid plan like rejoining the commandments again just to keep them safe. He looked back at the direction he walked away from and shed yet, another tear.

It is Merlin's Fault isn't it?
