!TW! (again)
This chapter is from 1989's POV
The sun shines through my windows, reminding me to get ready for school. I'm starting to regret going to that party. I mean who throws a house party on a school night?
My stomach growls, telling me it's awake. God I'm so hungry. I think it's been three days since I last ate, which was when midnights made me eat an orange.
I check my phone and look through my texts. My volleyball group chat was spamming all night because tryouts are today. I'm the team captain, so I also have a few messages from the underclassmen about what to wear, when to show up, etc. I answer my messages and go to find clothes.
I put on a pair of black leggings with a blue sweater over it, but after I look in the mirror, I change clothes.
I can't wear these leggings, my calves are too big. I need a bigger thigh gap. This sweater makes my stomach stick out. You can't see my collarbones enough. My arms aren't small enough.
I end up wearing a teal cardigan with some grey sweats. It worked out fine because I can wear my volleyball clothes underneath so I don't have to change.
Midnights is sitting on the couch in my living room, still asleep. I forgot I let her stay here. Her mom would get mad if she knew she was drunk at a party, so I told her to stay here to sober up. She turns around, waking up from my walking.
"It's so early, why are you up?" She says, rubbing her eyes.
I check my phone. "7:16. We need to leave for school in twenty minutes. Can you get ready please?" I ask, slightly annoyed. I don't think she realized the time, because she jumps off the couch and runs to the bathroom to get ready.
The kitchen already has pancakes on the table that my mom made for me before she left for work. I don't see her often, because she works long hours, but she makes sure we have what we need. I lay out a pancake for when my sister gets out of bed in probably thirty minutes, and bring the other one to Midnights.
"Hey, I brought you breakfast." I offer her the plate of food, which she immediately takes.
"Do you have one too? I don't want to take your food from you."
"I'm not hungry, you can have it." I say with a smile. Another lie. I was starving. But she needed to take the food fast, the smell was haunting me.
Mid grabs the pancake and stabs the fork into it, eating a bite. I think she caught me staring, because she put the fork in front of my nose, offering me it. I shook my head no. It's like she's purposely taunting me.
It wouldn't hurt to get a bite, right? No, Don't even think that. Because then you'll gain weight, and have to start all over again.

First Period
It's Thursday, so I have chemistry first. I sit down next to Rep, who is already falling asleep at her desk, and tap on her shoulder.
"Have fun last night?" I ask, obviously teasing her.
"What? Did I drink a lot or something? What did I do?" She asks, starting to get a worried look on her face. Her and Midnights both have a tendency to do stupid stuff under the influence and then forget about it.
I laugh. "Just a little, but I know what you were doing in that bedroom." I say. Last night, me and Midnights saw her leaving the bedroom with a sophomore, who's face was bright red. Most people our age wouldn't hook up with one of the younger grades, but Rep got with everyone. She was known for being a player, but hates when we say that.
