Branch and Poppy One Shot

A Kiss

Branch and Poppy's first kiss.

Poppy was playing hide and seek with the snack pack and her new boyfriend Branch was the seeker. Everyone well hidden. Poppy was climbing a tree where she usually hid and never got caught the pack was wonder where she went because they could never find her, it was a nice, secluded area and she could relax all she wanted while being able to watch where the trolls were.

As she was sitting down and relaxed being queen really took it toll on her but she still made time for her friends while she was thinking there was a strong gust of wind that she lost her balance and started to fall out of the tree, she tried to use her hair but there was nothing to grab onto she closed her eyes waiting for the ground but instead of hard ground she felt something strong and warm close around her, she opened her eyes to see Branch holding her bridal style they stared at each other.

''Well looks like I found your hiding place.'' Branch said smirking.

''Please don't let the others know where it's at, I'll be willing to share it with you. Have you found the others?'' Poppy asked liking the feeling of Branch holding her.

''Nope haven't found them, and I suppose we could share, and I could share my hiding spot.'' He said whispering in her ear.

Poppy giggled and found it hard to breath while blushing, they both leaned their head closer, and Branch was about to kiss her when... RING RING RING.

Poppy jumped out of bed startled and saw it was her alarm clock, she sighed it was a good dream. Her and Branch had been dating for a couple of weeks and they haven't kissed, yet. Poppy had been wanting to kiss him but was a bit nervous she had never kissed a troll before, (besides kissing her dad on the cheek). She didn't know how to bring it up. Lately she been dreaming about it. She finally got dressed and went outside and saw the trolls walking around and found branch walking somewhere, so she runs up to him.

''Branch, wait up.'' she said.

He turned around and found Poppy jumping into his arms giving him a hug. ''Hi, ya Branch where are you going?''

''Well, I was going out to gather some supplies for painting the inside of my bunker.''

''I see I would love to join you, but I have work to do.'' Poppy said as she was turned around, she tripped and before she fell Branch caught her and his hand was on her waist they stared at each other and out of nowhere Branch leaned forward and kissed her. His lips were soft and warm she put her arms on his shoulders and kissed back they only pulled away when they heard cheering and a ABOUT TIME! they pulled away to see the snack pack watching them. They blushed and Poppy gave Branch a quick kiss and said ''I have to go.''

''Meet me tonight at the tree you hid in.'' He whispered smiling and walking away.

Poppy was confused on how her knew where she hid, she smiled waved bye to the snack pack and made her way to her office to settle paperwork.
