Branch and Poppy One Shot

Stuck in an Elevator

Branch and Poppy go to a reunion and get stuck in an elevator together.

One afternoon Branch was in the car next to his best buddy Guy Diamond, he sighed and slumped in his seat.

''Oh cheer up Branch you'll be fine, besides its a once in a life time thing and I know plenty who will love to see you.'' The silver haired guy said.

''Sure.. you and Cooper right?'' Branch groaned.

''You know you were a lot more popular in high school then you thought.'' Guy said looking at his friend.

''Oh yeah?'' Branch challenged.

''Yeah a lot of girls had a crush on you, even your dream girl had it bad for you.'' Guy said nudging Branch.

''Who said she was my dream girl and you know as well as me, we weren't meant to be. That jerk Creek won her heart.'' Branch muttered thinking back to graduation day.

Flashback..

Graduation day came and all the trolls were together talking after they got their diploma's. Branch was standing to the side happy he graduated and his grandma was talking to a couple of other trolls.

''Branch get over here.'' He was pulled by Guy and saw the snack pack.

''Can you believe it we finally graduated!'' Biggie shouted excitedly.

Suddenly they heard a voice and saw Poppy running to them with Creek in tow.

''Hey its the most cutest couple ever!'' Shouted Satin and Chenille.

Branch rolled his eyes.

''Hey guys congrats I got some news I recieved an invite and me and Creek are going to the same college!'' She shouted excited and hugged Creek hard.

''Yep and while that is on we are officially a couple!'' Creek said proudly and kisses Poppy's cheek.

The girls cheered and the guys shrugged, Branch sighed and then turned and walked away.

''Hey Branch wait!'' Poppy called going after him.

But he had slipped away and never saw her again.

Flashback over..

Branch sighed.

''Its because you never tried to win her over.'' Guy said.

''I don't want to talk about it.'' Branch said.

''Ok alright mate, look here we are.'' Guy said as they pulled up to the hotel.

''So I got us two rooms both next to each other in case things get you know..'' Guy winked.

''Yeah sure good luck Guy.'' Branch smiled a bit.

''Hey a bachlor like us need to find girls.'' He said going into his room.

Branch was in his room dressed up in a blue vest and brown shorts and he started drinking the whiskey that was there, he wasn't looking forward to this reunion but he didn't want to run into Creek smirking with Poppy on his arm showing her off.

'Lets do this.' He told himself.

Later him and Guy went and filled out their name cards and placed it on their left side and went into the big reception room and saw a disco ball going and saw people everywhere.

''Hey check it out its the snack pack!'' Guy shouted running over.

Meanwhile shortly before Branch and Guy showed up, the pretty pink haired girl in a evening dress Poppy was greeting all her old friends and she was suddenly pulled into a hug by DJ Suki.
