Darius nodded. “Exactly. But I also wonder why the connection isn’t working for you. It’s unusual for a werewolf to be completely disconnected from their inner wolf, especially if your lineage is the Lupine Ridge’s tribe. It also explains why you three might have been drawn to the town.”
