Chapter 12 They're Alive!

Morro POV

"They're Alive!"

"How do we get to them?" The voices keep yelling.

"Shut uuuuuupp."

What are they even saying?

"Morro get up! We're going to get Lloyd and Zane!"

"..what?"

Lifting my head, I see white hair running out of the room. Barely thinking, I sit up in the bed.

It's my brother's room. In near perfect condition to what it was, save the lack of most of the personal items. A flash of Lloyd's memories reminds me that the original monastery burned down.

Wu walks in; right Lloyd and Zane disappeared in the attack last week. He's sitting on the edge of the bed.

"The ninja found out that Zane and Lloyd are in the Never Realm. They're working on a rescue plan."

"The realm you can't return from Never Realm?"

"Yes"

"Do they know that?"

"I haven't told them yet."

I miss my brothers. I felt the same way last night when I crashed in his room rather than my own. He never seemed to mind when I did that before. Even when the two came back from hard missions.

"Will you be joining them?"

Dad's let some stress go since Harumi, Uncle and I started staying at the monastery instead of commuting from Hiroshi's labyrinth everyday.

He finally cut the beard a bit. It hits his chest instead of waist, and he looks younger for an old man.

"No, I'll stay here. I'd rather not realm travel anytime soon."

"Morro!! Come on! We gotta go get them!" Harumi yells running into the room, Jay on her heels.

"They're in this realm we've never seen before and we don't know if they're okay!"

"I'm not going-" "What?! Noooo." "Someone's gotta take care of Ninjago while the ninja are gone."

She thinks it over for a second before nodding and pulling Jay out of the room with a yelp from him, yelling for Kai.

"It's nice having you home." Wu says before walking out himself.

Getting up and out of the room, still in pajamas, Cole nearly topples me over.

"Oops, sorry. I'm trying to find Jay, have you seen him?" Their rush seems to make them forget their earlier hesitancy with us.

"He's either following or getting dragged around by Harumi who's looking for Kai. They went that way last I saw." Pointing to the left.

He says a quick thanks and runs to the left; I go right.

I run into Pixal and Uncle talking on the couch in the living room.

"You won't be going with?"

"No, the ninja can get them. Besides, somebody's got to protect Ninjago while they're gone."

"Cool, are we going to bond or something? Lloyd mentioned before that you're a nice person to interact with." I jump into the conversation, leaning on the back of the couch beside Pixal.

"You don't want to join them?"

"No, I'd rather not Realm Jump anytime soon."

"It will just be you two and Wu then." Uncle says, standing up and excusing himself from the conversation.
