Morro POV

"Hey, what are the chances that this is an irregular amount of problems in Ninjago that just happened to spike right now for no reason?" Pix laughs at that, rude, this is hard.

"Aren't you the one who wanted to be a ninja?" "I am a ninja.." "This is normal, and this is just petty crime."

Whyyyyyy.

There were eight different problems we were called in to deal with and around twenty things we just happened to stumble upon and it's only been two days. And by "We were called", I mean the Ninja's computer was notified, so Samurai X was also notified, and Pix decided to drag me along of course.

"Hey you notice the ghostly theme of these guys too right? Weird.." We're on coms as I chase these gang (cult?) people down an alley, the X-mechcar pulling up at the alleyway opening the members were about to run through.

"Yes, though I didn't put much thought into it." The voice modulator still sounds weird to me.

"I thought the ninja don't work with Samurai X." one of these guys whispered to another while we worked to tie them up.

"You will never stop what's coming!" Huh, leader then. "We have dedicated everything to her, our souls will be treasured as she lays waste to this meek realm! The Cursed Will Rise!"

"That's enough out of you." I stuff a cloth in his mouth. Definitely a cult or something then.

"You're not supposed to do that."

"Who says? I'm pretty sure this option is better than knocking him out."

When the police arrived at the location, Samurai X is standing on top of her car, a second away from jumping in and driving away. I'm on top of a building looking from above, giving the illusion that The Green Ninja is still in Ninjago City.

"How long do you think it'll take before they realize the shade of green is wrong?" I land on the back of her car at the rendezvous point, Pix driving away the next second.

"Either at the same moment they process that The Greenie's working with Samurai X or when the others come back."

"Huh, that checks out. You think this is it for now?"

"No, but we've done a large chunk already, we can leave."

"Yes!"

It takes half an hour to drive back to the monastery, something I remember taking around two days to walk. Not to mention how much easier it is to actually have vehicles for the Monastery cause of the ground level garage. It takes about 5 minutes to get up the twelve hour trek that is the mountain of a thousand steps. Dad's in the kitchen when we walk in from the Media Room.

"-And that's when Lloyd gave up on fighting altogether."

"Seriously?" Dad grabs and pours another cup of tea.

"Mhm. If he had his powers or knew the ninja were alive, he would've fought harder before we found the resistance."

"Sounds like something K would do. Right dad? If he lost his powers, K would just give up until Nix got him to get up." I'm sitting on the counter, next to Pix, but facing dad.

"Yes, he was dramatic like that."

"You say that like you're Not dramatic." Dad playfully glares back.

"Your entire family's dramatic. K? Who's that?"

"He's my son. Morro, get off the counter." Dad hits the top of my head, handing me the cup.
