Morning

Lucy woke up sprawled out across the bed, the smell of pancakes wafted through the ajar door. She rolled out of bed into the kitchen to see Tim cooking up breakfast looking handsome as always.

"Morning babe" Lucy said sleepily

"Morning , u alright baby ? it's Tams first day at her new school"

"Crap I forgot! I need to go wake her up."

"Luce it's fine I've already got her up, she's getting ready,"

Lucy sits down and eats breakfast while Tim showers and gets ready for the day, Tamara walks out her room, her hair perfectly curled, makeup looking flawless and she was wearing a plaid red skirt with a black strappy top and combat boots. Lucy knew Tam cared about her looks and her fashion. But this, this was too much for school.

"Morning darling , u alright?" Lucy asked, wondering if she should mention Tamaras outfit choices.

"Yeah I'm fine,"

"Erm Tam, I wanted to talk to u about what u have chosen to wear, it's a little, um, how do I put this? Revealing ?"

"Mom I'm 15,"

"Yeah and I get that but ur just going to get urself dress coded on ur first day, that's not a great impression is it?"

"Why do u always have to comment on whatever I do? Focus on ur own life ! I'm going to get the bus!" Tamara stormed out the apartment, slamming the door behind her.

Tamara had always been quite difficult, she had to move school due to being suspended for an assortment of reasons, Lucy wasn't too worried about her having to make friends as Tam already knew Jack and Lila.

"What the hell is all that banging?" Tim asked as he walked out the bedroom now wearing blue jeans and a grey T-shirt.

"Tamaras outfit wasn't very school appropriate so I spoke to her about it and she got mad and left, I feel awful now."

"Luce don't worry, she knows ur just looking out for her, go get ready for work,"

Lucy hopped into the shower thinking about Tam, she felt so bad Tamara had gone in on her first day in a bad mood and probably feeling crap about her outfit now.

Lucy hurried to get dressed, putting on Tim's metro hoodie along with leggings. Her hair tied up in a messy bun and light makeup.

The pair left for work running slightly late.
