Walk

Lucy could not believe it, everyone knew about her and Tim's situation and she had to ride with him. As Lucy was grabbing the gear she started to speak to Celina.

"I could just pretend I'm sick?"

"I don't think Grey will buy that?"

"Your right."

Just then Tim came storming round the corner.

"Lucy what is taking u so long!"

"I was speaking to Grey." Lucy said rolling her eyes.

"I'm not dealing with u today. Give me the bloody bags," Tim snatched them out Lucy's hands.

"What the hell is ur issue!"

"I don't have an issue Lucy, u do!"

"Oh piss off Tim."

Lucy walked off to Greys office.

"Sir,"

"Lucy if this is about u and Tim."

"Is it too late to take a sick day?"

"Yes Chen it is. Just ride with Tim for today."

"Ok sir."

Lucy headed back towards the shop and got into the passenger side. Tim glared at her. They drove to the house metro was alerted to.

"U stay in the shop and radio if u see anyone entering through the back."

"So I've had to ride with ur miserable ass just to sit here."

Tim ignored Lucy's comment and headed towards the house to join the others. Lucy was left with her thoughts. She couldn't stop thinking about the what ifs.

What if she was pregnant.

What if she had to tell Tim that.

What if Angela kicks her out because she is.

What if she isn't.

Lucy hadn't felt positively about this possibly and it shocked her. She was snapped out of her thoughts when a big white van pulled up next to her obstructing her view of the house. She spoke through the radio.

"I've lost visual of the back door, it's being obstructed by a white van."

"U need to get out and get ur eyes on the house then!" Tim replied angrily.

Lucy quietly got out of the shop trying to see who was in the van, as she looked around it she caught view of 2 armed men entering the back door.

"Tim! Two aren't men entering through the back!" Lucy screamed down the radio, her voice showing concern,

She remained on lookout, the sound of gunshots and screaming echoed throughout the street. She couldn't just stand there. Lucy ran to the house and she entered to see Celina laying on the floor, blood pouring out of her leg. She scooped Celina up put her down outside to ensure she wouldn't get anymore injured. She ran back in towards the gunshots. Lucy spotted one of the men, he was sneaking up on Tim. She though quickly, pulled out her gun and shot him in the  arm and cuffed him. Tim snapped his head around, oblivious to how close to death he really was.

"I told u to stay in the shop!"

Lucy ignored Tim and took the man out and loaded him into the shop. Just then Aaron followed, the other man in cuffs. Lucy ran back over to Celina who was sat with Nyla.

"U alright?"

"Yeah I'll be fine, it went straight through."

"Thank god. Is the ambulance on the way?"

"Yeah it is."

"Here, take my jacket to stop the bleeding."

"Thanks Luce, honestly u probably saved my life,"

"Of course, at least ur grateful unlike some people."

"What's Tim said to u now?" Nyla asked raising an eyebrow.

Lucy explained how she saved Tim's life, and told Nyla what he said to her after.

"He's going to get on my last nerve I swear." Nyla said.

"Well, I'll check on u later alright Celina?"

"See u later Lucy" Celina and Nyla said as she walked back to the shop.

Lucy got into the shop, she could not be arsed with Tim's lecture.

"U disobeyed an order."

"If I didn't u would be dead."

"Still an order."

"God maybe I shouldn't have saved u."

"Get the hell out of here."

"WHAT!"

"I SAID OUT!"

Lucy got out slamming the door behind her and stormed over to Nyla who was now finishing up talking to the medics,

"Please can u take me back to the station,"

"Yeah of course Luce, where's Tim?"

"He drove off."

"Oh wait Crap. We can't we have the other guy in the back."

"Oh yeah, has Nolan already left?"

"Yeah he headed to the hospital to meet Celina there."

"So I'm stuck here."

"I'm so sorry Luce."

"It's fine I'll call Grey."

Lucy was fuming, she hated Tim so much. She dialled Greys number, no answer. Her eyes began to fill with tears, she couldn't believe this was her life. Everything used to be perfect.

She got up Google maps on her phone to see how long it would take to get back to the station, 45 minutes.

She arrived back to the station drowning in her sweat. She went straight to the locker room so she could sort herself out. She wiped the mascara from under her eyes and reapplied deodorant. Lucy took herself to Greys office, once again.

"Sir, I tried to call."

"Oh sorry Chen, I didn't see. What's up?"

"Tim left me. I had to walk almost an hour back here!"

"Are u joking, why did he do that?"

Lucy told Grey everything, she admitted to saying she wishes she didn't save him.

"I'll have a word, but Lucy u need to stop doing and saying things like this."

"I know sir I'm sorry, can I just work with Angela for the rest of the day please?"

"Yep."

Lucy walked over to Angela's desk as she saw Angela she just broke down. Angela jumped up and ran to give Lucy a hug.

"Lu, what's happened darling?"

Lucy explained yet again.

"Just ignore him he's such an ass."

"No Angela, it's not just him I'm just as bad."

"Lu, you are not. He stole ur daughter from u and said nasty things about u."

"I guess, oh yeah did u manage to get to the store?"

"Yeah I did, u want to take it now?"
