Tim made his way to Greys office after receiving the text from him. He had no clue what it was about. He knocked at the door and entered.

"Bradford, take a seat."

"Sir?"

"Lopez and Chen were an hour late today, do u know why that is?"

"No sir why would I?"

"Il tell u why they were late, they had to take your daughter to school. The one u fought for full custody of."

"I couldn't be late for work sir."

"But u didn't wake her up. You created the issue."

"She should wake herself up."

"Ur her parent who's supposed to be there to help her, u need to sort this out. Chen isn't even supposed to be anywhere near Tamara."

"Well I don't think the judge will be too happy when she finds out Lucy was around her."

"Tim, do not cause anymore issues for Chen. Enough is going on."

Tim didn't know what to say, he walked out of the office and went back to his. He didn't know if he should let the judge know about Lucy's contact with Tamara or just leave it.

"Sarge, can I go and pick my kids up from nursery then I'll bring them back here for an hour."

"Of course Angela."

Lucy remained sat at Angela's desk continuing with the paperwork. She wanted to complete it as quick as possible so they could just get home. She knew grey had spoke to Tim as she saw him in the office. Tim was probably so annoyed at her for telling Grey. That's when he appeared and approached Lucy.

Everyone began to stare. They knew what happened when the two came into contact with each other and this time Angela wasn't there to diffuse the bomb about to explode. Lucy watched as Grey stood up so he could watch the interaction and jump in if needed.

"Lucy, why did u tell Grey it was my fault u was late to work?"

Lucy hated confrontation.

"I explained the situation." Lucy was determined to keep herself calm.

"U painted me as the bad guy and one to blame."

"Well Tim u refused to take her to school."

"I had work."

"And she had school and me and Angela had work, ur not more important than everyone else Tim."

"I know that."

People stopped staring they realised this wasn't going to be as entertaining as it usually would be.

"Just sort it out Tim, alright?"

"Ok I'm sorry Luce."

"No Tim, don't call me that."

"Sorry."

Tim walked off. Lucy was proud of herself, she didn't scream, shout or cry. She sat back down and continued on like nothing happened. Soon after Lucy heard her name being shouted. The station was really empty. Most had gone home.

"Auntie Lu!" Willow screamed as she jumped into Lucy's arms.

"Hey baby, u ok?"

"Yes!"

"Hey Jack, how was school."

"It was alright,"

Lucy continued the paperwork still holding onto willow. She had fallen asleep still hugging Lucy around the neck, Angela smiled as she watched Lucy run her fingers through willows hair.

Lucy wished for a daughter like Willow.

"Right Luce, we better get home,"

"Yeah, I agree I'm so tired I cannot wait to get to bed."

"Honestly me too,"

Once they arrive back at Angela's they are greeted by Wesley who had just got back from his work trip.

"Hey baby I've missed u!" Angela said while hugging him.

"I've missed u too baby."

Lucy went inside and hopped in the shower straight away, she couldn't wait a minute longer to get into her pyjamas. She kept thinking back to how Tim called her 'Luce', why did he do that? The thought was consuming her. After she finished up in the bathroom Lucy pulled on her four sizes too big pyjama pants and a little white tank top. She made her way to the living room where Wesley and Angela were talking about their days.

"Hey lu, u alright?" Angela asked.

"Yeah I'm alright, I just was thinking about something but I don't want to interrupt."

"No Luce, what is it?"

Lucy slouched into the sofa next to Angela.

"I'm going to grab a drink do u guys want anything?" Wesley questioned getting the impression the conversation was going to contain tears.

"Just some wine please babe." Angela requested.

"Have u got anything like vodka?"

"I'll have a look for u Lucy, I know we have tequila?"

"Yeah that's good please."

Wesley left to grab their drinks, Angela was worried about Lucy's drinking problems.

"So what's up Lu?"

"So when u went to get Jack and Willow, Tim came to speak to me."

"Oh god. What did he have to say?"

"He asked why I snitched to Grey and he had a bit of a go at me but he kept calling me Luce."

"That's so odd, did u ask him why?"

"No I wish I did but I told him to not call me that, I just don't get why he did?"

"Maybe it was just out of habit?"

"Maybe, I miss him Ange. Not the arguing but just him."

"I know darling, come here."

Angela scooped Lucy into her arms. By now Wesley had sat back down and placed all the drinks on the coffee table. Lucy hauled herself off Angela and grabbed her glass of tequila. She took a sip, the taste burning the back of her throat in a relieving kind of way. She knew she had to keep herself under control other wise Angela would know something was up.

Wesley and Angela sat cuddled up, Jack next to Wesley and Lucy next to Angela. Lucy took small sips at her drink and eventually decided to stop. The sight of these people around her hit her like a tone of bricks. They cared about her, she knew she needed to sort herself out. For her new found family and for her old one.
