Beer

Lucy and Tim made their way into the living room and sat down on the couch.

"Tim, I'm so sorry, I wasn't thinking straight and I'm sorry,"

"Lucy, u need to learn to control urself."

"Tim I said I'm sorry."

"That doesn't make what u did ok, u hit me with a smashes bottle are u insane?"

"Tim..I'm scared I don't know what's going on with me,"

"Maybe ur coming on ur period?"

Lucy stood up. For some reason him saying this just irritated her.

"What the hell did u just say to me!"

"I was just suggesting that's why!"

She walked back out to the garden and sat back in her seat, she continued to eat her food. She couldn't stop thinking about what Tim said. She realised that she hadn't got her period for like 2 weeks through all the chaos she hadn't noticed. It's probably just the stress she thought to herself.

Tim joined everyone back at the table around five minutes later. The silence was so loud, everyone knew that had just had yet another argument. He glared at Lucy from across the table. Lucy rolled her eyes at him.

It was getting late.

"We are going to head home now, willow keeps falling asleep." Angela stated to everyone.

"Thanks so much for coming!" Nolan and Bailey replied.

"Bye everyone," Lucy said.

"Bye Luce, see u tomorrow!"

Wesley picked willow up and they all headed to the car. Angela was desperate to ask Lucy about what her and Tim spoke about however she waited until they got home.

"Lucy?"

"Mhm?" Lucy was exhausted, she was already beginning to feel the hangover.

"What u and Tim speak about?"

"Not much, I just apologised."

"When he came out he looked fuming."

"Yep, because he started saying I was in a mood because I'm on my period."

"Well are u?"

"No."

"Oh right."

"Ange. I'm two weeks late."

"Are u joking?"

"No. I'm scared."

"We will deal with this in the morning Lucy. I need to get to bed we've got work tomorrow." Angela didn't seem to impressed with Lucy but she was unsure why.

Lucy went to her room and threw on some loose shorts and a tank top.

She slumped into her bed. She was terrified, what if she was pregnant? She couldn't sleep, the thoughts in her head were eating away at her. She hauled herself up and threw on a hoodie. She rummaged through the nightstand and grabbed her cigs. She then made her way to the kitchen and pulled a bottle of beer from the fridge.

Next thing she knew she was sat in the garden downing the beer and inhaling the smoke. She coughed.

"Lu?"

Lucy snapped her head around, she hid the empty bottle under her leg. She didn't want Angela to see her drinking if she was possibly pregnant. She knew it was wrong but she needed it.

"Oh hey?"

"Lucy what are u doing out here?"

"Just needed some air, Ange."

"Come here darling," Angela wrapped her arms around Lucy. She knew how stressed she was.

"Ange, what will I do if I am pregnant?"

"We will deal with it together, we can go get a test after work tomorrow alright?"

"Mhm."

"I'm going to head back to bed alright Lu?"

"Yeah I'll be inside in a bit."

After a while Lucy gathered herself and went back inside.

In the morning.

Angela got up and headed to Jacks room.

"Jack, up for school please."

Jack replied with a tired grunt.

"Wes, can u start breakfast while I get willow please baby?"

"Of course Ange." Wesley replied.

Angela entered Willows room and woke her gently.

"Morning mama!"

"Morning baby, u excited for nursery today?"

"Yeah!"

Angela put willows hair in two little pigtails, she then put her in a pink floral dress with tights underneath.

"Go wake up Auntie Lulu please baby."

"Yayyy!"

Willow loved when she was allowed to do this. She dashed into Lucy's room and jumped onto the bed.

"Lulu! Wake up!"

Lucy opened her eyes. Straight away she could feel her head pounding from all that vodka the night before.

"Morning baby."

Willow continued to jump on Lucy's bed.

"Willow, I need to get dressed. I'll come and have breakfast with u in a minute."

Just as willow left Lucy felt a sudden wave of sickness. She ran to the bathroom and began to violently throw up. After she cleaned herself up she quickly got ready for work and went into the kitchen.

"F this, I'm so bloody hungover." Lucy said as she entered the kitchen.

"Here, have something to eat."

Lucy sat down and ate a slice of toast.

"I'm taking the kids to school!" Wesley yelled to Angela who was in her room getting ready for the day.

"Alright baby! Have a great day!"

Lucy glanced at the time too see they were running late.

"Angela, we need to leave!"

"Crap! I'm coming."

The two jump into the car and get to the station just in time. Lucy changed into her uniform and dashed into role call to see Tim stood at the front leading it today.

"Today metro need some offices to assist and an op."
"Thorson, Harper, Nolan, Juarez and Chen get ur shops ready I'll send the location to ur box. Chen I've got to ride with u."

Tim wasn't happy about riding with Lucy but he had no choice.

Lucy was already feeling like crap and now she had to work with Tim. After role call finished and everyone else had left she went up to the front to speak to Grey.

"Sir I cannot ride with Tim after last night."

"I'm sorry Chen, there isn't anyone else."

"Sir please."

"Officer Chen go set up ur shop." Grey was fed up of Lucy and Tim's relationship causing issues within the station.
