Angela woke up in the middle of the night hearing loud noises coming from Lucy's bedroom. What could it be? She pulled the blankets off her and got up of the couch and began to head towards Lucy's bedroom. She raised her fist to knock at the door.

"Luce?" Angela whispered not wanting to wake Tamara up.

Lucy opened the door half asleep confused as to what Angela wanted.

"Yes?"

"What's all that noise Lucy?"

"Oh it's nothing." Lucy was embarrassed to admit it. Angela pushed Lucy aside and looked into the bedroom. Lucy was mid way through changing her sheets.

"Lucy why are u changing ur bed at two in the morning, are u ok?"

"It..it smelt like him still." Lucy admitted, tears blurring her vision.

"Oh Lu come here." Angela stood hugging Lucy while she sobbed,

"Every time I fell asleep I couldn't stop thinking about him."

"Luce let me help u finished changing ur sheets alright darling."

Lucy nodded thankfully. Angela changed the bed for Lucy, she couldn't imagine what she had been going through. How hadn't she noticed her and Tim's relationship crumbling.

Angela woke up first in the morning, she kicked softly on Tamara's door.

"Tam can I come in hun?"

Tamara grunted a yes sleepily.

"Are u going to school today darling?"

"Yeah, I can stay here by myself and I need to get myself together, u know?"

"I get it, I'll make u some breakfast."

As Angela was flipping the eggs Lucy made an appearance, it looked as though she had been crying and she seemed exhausted. Angela noticed this but decided to try and be positive for Lucy.

"Morning Lu, want some eggs?"

"Morning Ange, yeah please."

After they all ate breakfast Angela jumped into the shower. Tamara was just about to leave for school when Lucy stopped her.

"Tam come here darling."

"Yes mom?"

"Let me check ur bag before u go, ok?"

"Mom I've not got anything, dad took it all away." That's when tam realised her dad wasn't home. She hadn't seen him since he left her with all her friends.

"Wait where is dad?" Tam asked curiously.

"Ur be late if I explain now Tam."

"No Mom. U need to tell me I'm worried now what's happened?"

"Ur dad wants a divorce Tam."

Lucy explained everything to Tam as quickly as possible. By the time she had finished Tamara didn't know what to say. She couldn't believe it she thought her parents were happy until, the arguing and even then she thought they would get through it. But not this time.

"Well I'm going to school."

"Tam, bag."

Lucy wasn't going to give up. She took Tamara's bag and started to search it checking for anything she shouldn't have. When she got to the front pocket tams face dropped. Lucy noticed but didn't mention it. As she opened the pocked she saw two vapes. She raised an eyebrow at Tamara.
