"It's been a few months now, and I don't think Jaxon will be able to get his memory back. I guess he is now Jasper," said inner Jax in a sad tone.

As inner Jax felt sad, he did learn a few things about the world. There are hunters who go through portals to kill monsters with their powers, which they call skills given by Gods. There is also something called a player, given a system to gain power by killing monsters and receiving loot via quests. There are martial fighters (or at least what inner Jax calls them) who have the ability to grow stronger by cultivating, or at least that's what Jax thinks. The world seems very futuristic, which inner Jax assumes is due to all the resources that have increased technological evolution.

As Jax was lost in thought, Jasper was about to fall off the table before a robotic maid saved him.

"Young Master, you know you're not supposed to get hurt while your parents risk their lives preventing a dungeon outbreak," she said in a robotic, emotionless voice as she held him.

Jasper spat out his binky and tried to escape the maid's grasp. The maid put Jasper down on the floor and turned on the TV to play a children's show as she prepared his food.

"Not this shit again. Please, maid, put on the news. It's so much more interesting to know about this world than watch a fucking baby show. I can't even explore the world because of the limit on how far I can go away from Jasper," yelled inner Jax in frustration.

As inner Jax continued to complain, it seemed to make Jasper notice his existence for the first time. As Jasper stared at inner Jax, it made him be quiet. He wondered if Jasper could see or hear him. As Jasper grabbed inner Jax and shook him. After a while, Jasper eventually let inner Jax go.

"What the heck," said inner Jax before realising he could actually be noticed. He was very happy he didn't have to talk to himself anymore.

*Ding*

-130

"A ding," said inner Jax in a concerned voice. "That hasn't happened in a few months, and it's negative 130. It seems our bad luck followed us to this world too."A portal appeared in front of the TV.

As Jasper stared at the portal, curiosity got the better of him, and he crawled into it, sending both him and inner Jax into a dungeon without inner Jax noticing. Surprised by this revelation, inner Jax immediately tried to make Jasper get out of the portal. A voice appeared in their heads saying, "15 minutes until the dungeon entrance will close," creating a sense of urgency to convince Jasper to leave the portal.

Outside the portal, the maid was about to bring Jasper his food with a bottle of warm milk. Noticing the portal by the TV and Jasper's absence, she immediately activated her heat sensors and couldn't see him. She assumed he had entered the portal. As she drops both the bottle and the food

As she hurried into the portal, inner Jax was about to make Jasper get out when they received a voice saying, "1 minute until the dungeon entrance closes." This made him start pushing Jasper toward the portal. As they got out, the maid just got in.

The maid immediately tried to activate her heat sensors, but they didn't turn on. She should've known that electronic devices don't work here. Her system slowly started to shut down. As the portal entrance closed, a wolf-like creature emerged from the darkness. She immediately scanned the creature to see if it was in her database.

[Conall]

[A strong dungeon monster with a wolf-like appearance. It is said that the fur of these monsters has magical properties, allowing them to cast C-rank magic. Their fangs are poisonous, and they are intelligent creatures that use strategy against opponents. Their jaw strength is about the same as a wolf's, but that doesn't mean they aren't dangerous. These monsters are usually found in packs in S-rank or higher dungeons.]

"Conall? If that's here, then this is an S-rank dungeon at least. I have to find the young master and protect him at all costs," said the maid in a concerned voice, as she lost more power and no longer had access to her database.

"It's unusual to see a Conall by itself, unless—" The maid leaned backward to dodge a jumping attack and counterattacked, immediately killing it.

"I don't have time for this. The master is in danger," she said, continuing to fight despite losing a lot of power. More Conalls emerged from the darkness, about eight in total. The maid took a fighting stance as another attacked her. One Conall jumped at her from the front while another approached from behind. As the others began casting spells, the maid kicked the Conall behind her in the nose, putting it down for a few seconds, then grabbed the paw of the one in front, twisting and throwing it at a Conall about to finish its spell, disrupting and killing it.

As another Conall was about to finish its spell and the previously kicked Conall prepared to attack, she used the Conall she had kicked as a shield, grabbing it to take the full force of the spell. The spell was a fireball. She ran into the fireball to get closer to the other Conalls, using the Conall as a shield, causing it to splatter blood everywhere as a strange stone dropped from it. She was about to use the same strategy, but a spell from behind hit her, causing her to lose her left arm.

She did not worry since she was a robot, but something inside her activated, causing her to see a vision "Protect and take care of our son, ok  Charlotte"". She immediately threw the corpse at the Conalls behind her and tackled the one in front, snapping its neck. Grabbing the back leg of another Conall, she crushed it, causing it to scream in pain, which hurt the other Conalls ears and stopped their spells. Instead of casting another spell, they decided to attack head-on. The maid dragged back the Conall, and instead of breaking its neck, she grabbed its throat and plunged her fingers into it, ripping it out slowly, causing the Conall to die in desperation.

This brutal display instilled great fear in the remaining Conalls, causing them to flee instead of facing her. As the maid fell face-first after the Conalls left, she was on very low power. Using her one arm, she crawled over to the stone that had fallen from the Conall's corpse. As her hand was just above it, she ran out of power.
