He very carefully stood up, still holding Levi in his arms. He patted Lionel on the back and held out his free hand for him to grab. "Come on you two, no fussing."

As he started to lead the boys towards the bathroom he chuckled as they both made sounds of protest for having to stop cuddling. However, it didn't last too long and they both understood they had to eat and get washed up to do their usual bedtime routine.

As they entered the bathroom he gently set Levi down. "Why don't you two play for a few minutes, I'm going to go help your mama with dinner." He said and pecked the top of their heads before he headed out and down to the kitchen to help me with cooking.

He walked into the kitchen and quietly walked up behind me. Once he was right behind me his arms snaked around my waist and he placed his chin on my shoulder. "What are we making?" He asked quietly in my ear.

I smiled and leaned my head back "Since it's summer, I'm doing sandwiches with fruit, they have already been snacking throughout the day," I said gently.

He smiled back and pressed a kiss to the side of my neck as I leaned back against him. When I said what I was planning on making he had an amused look on his face. "Sandwiches and fruit? That's it? No veggies?" He asked with a slight chuckle in his voice.

"I have already cut up cucumber, tomatoes and baby carrots," I replied, pointing at them.

He chuckled at the fact that I already had other stuff cut up. He should've known I'd already be on top of things. He looked over in the direction that I pointed and saw the little pile of vegetables all cut up. "Well look at you. You've already got that handled." He gently squeezed my waist with his hands.

He gently kissed the side of my neck lightly before lifting his head from my shoulder. "What do you need me to do then? Anything I can help with?" He asked with a smile on his face.

"Can you prepare their juices?" I asked him.

He nodded as I asked him that, of course, he'd help with that. He let go of my waist and walked over to the refrigerator. Reign opened the refrigerator door, grabbed the jug of juice and poured some into two cups. "What kind of juice do they get again?" He asked, glancing over his shoulder at me.

"Levi has orange and Lion has summer fruits," I replied gently.

He nodded, grabbed the bottle of orange juice and poured some into the other cup. After he finished pouring the first cup he set the orange juice back in the refrigerator, grabbed the summer fruit juice and poured that into the other cup. "Orange for Levi and Summer fruit for Lion. Got it." He said with a smirk and put the caps back on both bottles.

He then took the two cups and walked back over to me as he looked at all the food I had out. Sandwiches, fruits, and cut-up veggies. Reign looked at what I had laid out and chuckled a little. "You think that's going to be enough?" He asked with a slight smirk.

"What I have said they have snacked throughout the day," I said.

He chuckled once more and nodded as I said they had snacked throughout the day. He set the two cups on the counter and looked back over at me. Reign moved a hand gently to my hip as he spoke. "So if they have been snacking all day that means no dessert then, right?"

"You choose," I just replied shortly.

He laughed lightly at my response. Of course, letting him choose if they got dessert or not wouldn't end well for me. He gently pulled me towards him by my hip so that my back was against his chest again. He put his chin on my shoulder and chuckled as an arm wrapped around my waist. "You do know that if you let me choose they'll be having dessert, right?"

"Then you are staying up with them if they have tummy aches,".

He chuckled again at the threat. Though he didn't exactly see that as a threat considering he'd gladly stay up with them. Reign moved his head to the side so that his mouth was by my ear and smirked against my skin. "You know I have no qualms with staying up all night with them."

He instantly noticed the change in my mood, noticing how I wasn't in the mood to talk. He furrowed his brow as he picked up on this. Reign gently moved his hands to turn me to face him. When I was facing him his hands were still on my hips, holding me against him. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"Just tired and the heat is getting to me," I replied.

He nodded in understanding to my words, he knew exactly what I meant. The heat of the summer was already getting to him as well. Reign lifted a hand to gently touch the side of my face, caressing my cheek with his thumb. "I know, it's been terrible outside. I can't wait until the fall comes and this damn heat goes away for a while." He said with a sigh.

"It's bothering the boys as well, they want to go in the pool but their skin is so sensitive," I replied. "And they won't put on sunscreen,".

He let out a small laugh as I said the boys were bothered by the heat as well. However, what amused him was how they wouldn't put on sunscreen. Not a shocker that they would say no, Lion could be stubborn just like him, while Levi would copy his older brother. "No surprise they don't want sunscreen, they're as stubborn as me and they take after me on being defiant." He said with a smirk.

After he said that he sighed slightly, knowing he'd have to be the one to put sunscreen on the boys if they ever did go into the pool. "I guess I'll be the one to put sunscreen on them if they ever get in the pool. They'll fight it just like it was the end of the world." He shook his head and chuckled lightly.
