As he sat there, he realized that he had to keep this from me. He knew I would worry about him and the kids, and he didn't want to add to my stress. He knew he had to keep up the facade of normalcy as much as possible while he dealt with this newfound threat.

He let out a heavy sigh, feeling the weight of the responsibility on his shoulders. He was the head of the family, and it was his job to protect both his family and his organization. He had to be strong and confident, even when he was dealing with the fear of a potential traitor in their midst.

He steeled himself once more, pushing aside any personal feelings or concerns. He had a job to do, and he would do it to the best of his ability. He would find the mole and deal with them before they could cause any damage to the family or the organization.

With a renewed sense of determination, Reign got back to work, focusing on the tasks ahead. He would not let a traitorous snake slip through the cracks. He would do whatever it takes to protect his family and his empire.

As the hours passed, Reign continued to go about his business as usual. He carried out his duties and conducted business meetings, all the while keeping up the facade of normalcy. He put on a brave face for the world, all the while his mind was preoccupied with the potential mole in their midst.

As he went about his day, he discreetly asked some of his trusted men to discreetly gather information and look into any suspicious activity within the organization. They were to be subtle and thorough, making sure not to tip off the potential mole.

Meanwhile, Azar was doing his investigation. He had his men scouting the streets and listening in on rumours and whispers. He was determined to leave no stone unturned in getting to the bottom of this.

As the day drew to a close, Reign found himself in a meeting with some of his higher-ups in the organization. He managed to keep his focus on the business at hand, but he couldn't shake the feeling that one of them might be the traitor in their midst.

He studied their faces, looking for any hint of deception or guilt. He knew he had to keep up the facade of complete trust among his men, but inside, he was on edge, constantly vigilant for any sign of betrayal.

The meeting went on for hours, and eventually, it was time to call it a day. Reign watched as his men filtered out, each of them giving him a nod or a polite greeting as they left. He returned their greetings with a stoic expression, hiding the turmoil deep within him.

Once the room was empty, Reign let out a heavy sigh, allowing himself a moment of vulnerability. The burden of knowing there might be a mole among them weighed heavily on his shoulders. He ran a hand across his face, exhaustion setting in.

Despite the fatigue, however, his mind was still sharp and focused. He knew he had to remain vigilant and alert at all times. He had to be one step ahead of the potential mole, anticipating their moves and countering them before they could cause any harm.

With a sigh, he rose from his chair and walked over to the window, looking out at the city below. The streets were bustling with activity, oblivious to the storm brewing within the organization.

On the other side of town, Josh strolled into the kitchen, his eyes immediately going to the tropical smoothie I was making. He watched as I expertly combined exotic fruits and vibrant ingredients.

I turned around "Your gun is over there,".

Josh raised an eyebrow at my statement, a look of curiosity on his face. "What do you mean my gun is over there?" he asked, his tone casual yet intrigued.

"Lionel or Levi took it from your car last night. Thinking it was a toy," I replied.

Josh's expression changed to one of surprise and disbelief. "What? You're kidding me, right?" he said, his voice a little higher than usual.

"Nope, they're fine and you're fine. Reign isn't mad," I said gently.

Josh's tension visibly eased at my words. He let out a sigh of relief and ran a hand through his hair. "Damn, you had me going there for a second," he said, a hint of humour in his voice.

He walked over to the counter where I was still preparing the smoothie. "I still can't believe they took my gun. Kids these days, huh?" he remarked, shaking his head slightly.

"Yeah, I know," I laughed softly.

Josh chuckled and leaned against the counter, his gaze still fixed on the smoothie I was making. "So, what's in that thing? It looks and smells amazing," he said with genuine curiosity.

"I can make you a portion, just a tropical smoothie,".

"Ooh, I'd love that," Josh replied, his eyes lighting up. "I'm a sucker for anything tropical. It reminds me of my days in the Caribbean, ya know?"

"You ever think of going back?"

Josh's expression softened, a nostalgic look in his eyes. "Yeah, I have," he admitted. "The carefree life, the clear blue waters, the warm sunshine - it's a temptation, I won't lie."

"I know, I know," Josh replied, a small smile playing on his lips. "He's been telling me to take a break for a long time. But it's tough. I've been a part of this family for so long, and I feel responsible for its safety just as much as he does."

"You are still our family if you ever went back, it gives me an excuse for a vacation,".

Josh chuckled at my reply. "Well, I wouldn't want to deprive you of a vacation," he joked. "But I'll tell you what, I'll think about it. I do miss those sunny beaches and crystal-clear water. Who knows? Maybe I'll take your advice and plan a little getaway soon."

"You deserve it-" The air was suddenly filled with the sound of gunfire, the noise breaking through the peaceful atmosphere of the kitchen. Josh tensed up immediately, his body going into alert mode. "Get down!" he shouted, instinctively moving to shield me from any potential danger.
