As they reached the location, Jungkook was welcomed by the director and producers. Ria signaled Jungkook that she would head to the green room. Jungkook entered the green room, the air seemed to thicken with the unspoken tension between them. Ria had her back to him, preparing the makeup kit, her fingers trembling slightly as she heard him approach. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for the task ahead.
Jungkook sat down in the chair, and Ria turned to face him. Their eyes met, and for a moment, the world outside that room ceased to exist. There was a connection between them, electric and undeniable, that neither could ignore. Jungkook's gaze was intense, filled with an emotion that made Ria's heart race.
She stepped closer, her breath hitching as she began to cleanse his face. Her fingers brushed against his skin, the contact sending a jolt through both of them. She tried to focus on her work, but the sensation of his smooth skin under her fingertips was intoxicating. Every touch felt charged, and she could feel the tension building between them.
"Close your eyes," she whispered, needing to escape the intensity of his gaze. He nodded, a small, playful smirk curling on his lips before he obeyed.
As he closed his eyes, Ria allowed herself a moment to take in his features. His face was a work of art strong jawline, soft yet defined cheeks, and those lips... her eyes lingered on the small ring pierced at the corner of his lower lip, a detail that made her stomach flutter. Without thinking, she reached out, her fingers hovering just above the ring, drawn to it like a magnet.
She hesitated, her breath catching in her throat. Her gaze shifted back to his eyes, and she saw that he had opened them, watching her intently. There was something dark and intensity in his gaze, something that mirrored the desire she felt burning inside her.
"May I?" she asked softly, her voice trembling slightly.
Jungkook swallowed hard, feeling a lump in his throat. He nodded, licking his lower lip casually, the motion making her stomach flip. As her fingers touched the ring, a soft giggle escaped her lips. The cool metal against his warm skin sent a shiver down her spine. She traced the ring, her touch featherlight, before letting her fingers slide down to the small mole just below his lower lip.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she felt the texture of his skin, every detail etched into her memory. She was mesmerized by him, by the way he was watching her with such intensity, as if she was the only person in the world.
Jungkook couldn't take his eyes off her. The way she bit her lip in concentration, the way her eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and nervousness—it was driving him insane. He felt himself falling deeper with every passing second, the desire to close the distance between them almost unbearable.
As she finished his makeup, her hand trembled slightly, betraying the calm façade she was trying so hard to maintain. The air between them was thick with unspoken words, with emotions they were both desperately trying to control.
"All done," she whispered, stepping back, her voice shaky.
Jungkook remained still, his eyes locked on hers. He could see the struggle in her eyes, the same battle he was fighting within himself. He wanted to pull her close, to let his hands explore her face, to give in to the temptation that was consuming him. But he knew he couldn't, not here, not now and never ever.
"Thank you," he murmured, his voice low and husky.
"You know," she said, her voice teasing, "you're too handsome for your own good."
Jungkook chuckled softly, the sound sending a thrill through her. "And you're too good at your job," he replied, his tone playful but his eyes still dark with unspoken desire.
