Ria was rearranging the files, her back turned to the shelf when Tae approached. He stood silently behind her, teasing smile curling on his lips as he anticipated her reaction. When she finally turned, she was startled, nearly stumbling backward. "Tae," she exclaimed, and he laughed, earning a playful smack from her.
"So, how are you feeling, babe?" he asked, his tone low and suggestive.
"I'm fine. Just don't scare me like that again," she replied, hands on her hips.
Tae's smirk deepened as he stepped closer, his gaze fixed on her. Ria instinctively took a step back, only to find herself pressed against the cold, hard surface of the rack behind her. His breath brushed her ear as he leaned in, his voice a dark, seductive whisper. "Let's continue what we left unfinished yesterday."
Ria blinked in confusion, her mind racing to catch up. "What do you mean, unfinished?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Tae, knowing her well, wasn't surprised by her confusion. "You don't remember?" he whispered, his voice dripping with dark amusement. "We made love, and you wanted to continue every day."
Ria's eyes widened in disbelief. "Impossible," she murmured, her voice trembling as she struggled to grasp the intensity of his words.
Seeing her distress, Tae's expression softened, though his eyes remained dark and intense. He cupped her face with a firm, possessive grip. "Calm yourself," he said, his voice a low murmur. "You fell asleep during our kiss. I was only playing with you."
Ria exhaled deeply, a wave of relief mingling with lingering unease. Tae's lips hovered dangerously close to hers, and his voice became a low, intense growl filled with raw emotion. "Ria, you need to understand something," he said, his tone thick with an almost desperate passion. "I need to be the one who makes your heart race, who ignites a fire inside you that you can't ignore. I want to be the only one who can stir your deepest desires and make you shiver with longing."
His grip tightened as he drew her closer, his gaze filled with an unyielding hunger. "I want you to love me with a ferocity that consumes you completely, with an intensity that you've never known before. My love for you is unrelenting, a force that demands to be acknowledged. I need you to give yourself to me entirely, without reservation. Until then, I'll wait. But make no mistake-I am devoted to you with a passion that borders on obsession. I need you to realize that you belong to me, and me alone."
Ria's voice trembled as she whispered, "Thanks, Tae."
Tae leaned in and pressed a lingering kiss to Ria's forehead, sealing the moment with tenderness that felt almost possessive. From the shadows just outside, Jungkook watched, his jaw clenched, eyes dark with a storm of emotions. The sight of Tae's kiss on Ria hit him harder than he expected, jealousy and something darker mixing in his chest.
The urge to do something reckless tugged at him, but he forced himself to remain still, his gaze tracking Tae as he left Ria behind.
Tae's satisfied smile was all it took to ignite something vicious inside him. Jungkook straightened, slipping into his usual carefree mode, masking the turmoil within. "Hi, Tae. Full of romance, huh?" His voice carried a subtle edge, though his face remained neutral.
Tae glanced at him, amused. "So, what's up, Kook?"
Jungkook shifted his weight, his smile calculated, but the tension in his body spoke otherwise. "Nothing much. Just had something to ask her."
Tae nodded easily. "Go ahead, see her. I'll catch you later."
Jungkook let the moment linger before calling out, "Hyung, actually... I wanted to ask you something."
