"When we grow up, I want us to get married to each other."
"What? But we're both boys."
"Why does that matter if we love each other?"
"Um... We do?"
"Well I love you, Shar. The necklace on my neck proves that."
"But I'm wearing the other half. I don't know if I love you yet."
"That's alright." There was a small giggle. "If you do, can we get married?"
"Hm." There was a brief pause. Then a confident "Sure!"
They were only kids. 11 year olds planning their future together. The cruel world and their deluded mindsets broke them apart. They poisoned their minds with belief that they'd never be happy together.
Collin grew to hate the world and wanted to show them that even someone who was as broken as he was could live happier than they ever did with their ideals and 'normal' lives.
Sharky should have done the same. He knew he should have. But he was something Collin wasn't. Afraid. He cared deeply about the world's opinions even when he knew it would only hurt him.
It was now day 3 of Sharky's disappearance and Sharky didn't seem to have any luck with escaping. He'd tried everything he knew was possible. He once hid in his walk in closet, and when Collin went to look for him in the bathroom, he'd made a run for the door. But Sharky didn't realise he'd locked it, ending up trapped and 'punished'. He hid behind the door and waited for Collin to come. When he did he was going to stab him straight but Collin knew he was coming. He stopped Sharky's wrist the moment the knife got close to his neck.
That incident lead Sharky to believe Collin had put cameras in his room. And so when he went searching, he'd found a total of seven in the bedroom. He broke off three but the other four were in places he couldn't get to.
He went to check the closet but for some reason he couldn't find a single one. He knocked off every piece of clothing and searched everywhere but nothing. Sharky had nothing better to do than refold them anyways so tidying up was no bother for him. Although he'd searched everywhere, there wasn't a single camera here. It couldn't have been Collin actually cared about his privacy, so why didn't he put any here?
Sharky also checked the bathroom but he had the same results as his cupboard. It was a little strange that Collin didn't put up any cameras in places as discrete as those, but Sharky couldn't really complain all that much.
"Don't you enjoy having sex?" Collin asked, laying in bed topless.
Sharky gave no reply. Partly because he'd just had his energy sucked out of him and also because he had no reason to make small talk with his kidnapper. He was laying in the bed, curled up, and as far away from Collin as he could possibly get himself.
"Come on, Shar you must enjoy it slightly." Collin then sighed out. "Then again I've tried everything to get something to come out of you but it's like you're forcing it to stay inside." Collin was obviously still referring to sex.
"We have kissed before you know. I know you remember." Collin gave a slight knowing smile.
"We were children." Sharky mumbled angrily. He hated that Collin dared to bring up the past and all their memories when he's put Sharky in a situation like this.
"Yes and yet you still begged for my kisses." Collin chuckled.
Sharky huffed out an annoyed laugh. "Cause they never used to turn you on."
