Chris came over to my place late after work. Yeah, him and I made our relationship official and things had been going well for the past four months. He spoils the hell out of me, girlfriend allowance of 10k everything month end and orders me expensive jewelery from overseas.
"I brought your new favorite milkshake and burgers."
"Thanks babe, more like not my favorite." He giggled.
"What do you mean? Are you having something you are not enjoying?"
"No, I found out I'm pregnant today."
"Girl what? Baby are you serious?"
"Yeah, Thandeka and I went to the Sona scan to confirm it and I'm eight weeks and 2 days. I didn't see the signs babe or maybe I ignored them."
"Come on baby...come here." He came towards me and carried me,then kissed me all over my face." I love you baby, and I'm going to be here for you. Yeah! I'm having a baby."
"Put me down please."
"Sure,I'm calling my friend." He took his phone then began calling.
"Dude, guess who's going to be a father..."  He was so happy, he went to sitting room and called almost everyone. I got a call from Marcus.
"Hello." I replied.
"I heard you are pregnant."
"Yeah,so?"
"Don't say so..do you know what this means Chloe?"
"It means that Chris is going to be a father Marcus."I whispered," I think we should stop what we are doing."
"Yeah, I agree with you. Chloe, I hope I'm really not the father man because I don't want to be an absent father in my child's life."
"Marcus, you have a wife and a baby in your wife's womb so could you please focus on them right now. Take care of Thandeka and your baby. That's your family and this baby is my family." I hung up. This journey wasn't going to be easy but I was ready to walk.
