The following day, Thandeka made breakfast, it was toasted bread, scrambled eggs with bacon and an olive salad.
"Girl, you don't have to be worried about anything. Marcus won't get any where closer to you."
"Yeah, maybe.Nooo! You know what...I should get a restraining order against him."
"Chomi, you know it doesn't work like that. Marcus didn't do anything to you right now."
"But he called me...it was as if he was warning me."
"I'll ask my baby about it, I'm sure he will advise us on this one. You know he caught the biggest dealer last night! He deserves to be Captain " We giggled.
"You sure got yourself a hottie, and it's just a compliment."
"Better be Hun because I'll help Marcus chop of your head" we laughed, she had her way to make me laugh always even in serious situations.
"Girl, you won't believe it. So yesterday I went to Doctor Mboyeni's house...you know for Chris. They literally kicked me out but in a polite way "
"Polite way? Kanjani!(how)"
"Chris began telling me that it's not a must for me to be there and uSindi says she feels like she's being monitored and she can't freely train Chris when I'm around."
"The drama! Let them be...you know men have their way to use us... you've been used!" We laughed.
"I think I liked him."
"Girl whaaat! A man on wheels?"
"I know, it's a strange feeling...I mean, he's got the looks but it was just a crazy feeling."
"Girl I really hope so, how will you deal with the relationship? You gonna carry him to bed..."I giggled, I wasn't ready to face that 'trauma'. Looking at the time, it was 10am already.
"Gosh, look at the time...I have to meet with Kgomotso" Kgomotso was a lady that was selling her house to me.
"Tell her to come over, I mean...you can't just drive just to sign,let her come to you,she needs you and your money baby."
"We need each other Thandeka..." I grabbed my phone and called her and she didn't pick up, I tried her until I was tired, I thought that maybe she's busy with something else. In a few  minutes she texted me " Hi Chloe, I'm sorry but I found a buyer who offered me what was better than you offered, you know business is business. I can offer you another house if you like."
Thandeka took my phone and read the message.
"Oh no! Did she just say if you like..." I stared at a bottle of wine,my dream house was gone. "Sweetheart, don't! Don't let this ruin your day... you'll find a better house someday. You see that bottle is not going to help you with anything. Let's go out for shopping...you do need new clothes."
I guess shopping would hurt anyone but one thing that one should bare in mind is that we all don't take it into consideration when things fall apart into our lives. We just try to hide from our ghosts which makes things worse.
