Another day goes by and we still haven't gotten anywhere. For the past few days after school we've headed for the library and scoured through its collection of books to no avail. The doubts and fears I suppress become more and more realised, but I can't give up and be stuck in this body, in this life! In the worst case scenario, can't we just explain everything to our families and friends? I guess that might be a bit too optimistic; I don't think Megan would want to hang out with me if she constantly sees and hears Zachary when doing so.

Today, once again, I head to the library after biology class. Zachary isn't here yet, so I pick a random table and open his laptop. Someone approaches me, and I wait for him to say something irritatedly, but I don't hear my own voice confront me.

"So, you really did listen to my advice?" an all too familiar male voice scoffs at me.

I just sigh and ignore Damian as best I can.

"Yeah, you don't want to admit it, do ya?" he continues.

I feel like I should be taking action, but I don't want to get in trouble again. If I shut him up, then it'll genuinely be my fault, not Zachary's. The worried yet curious gazes from students across the library support my inaction.

"Hm, you're no fun today," Damian notices. Wow, apparently ignoring your bullies really does work? I need to tell Zachary about this. Speaking of: Damian turns his head and spots someone entering the library. He chuckles and a devious grin grows on his face, "Hey, when you inevitably leave this one behind, make sure to send her over to me." With that, he leaves. For a second I'm confused, but then I see him bump against Zachary. Zachary gives him a cold glare, and makes his way over to me.

What a creep.

"Hey," Zachary says blandly as he sits across from me.

"Damian just tried to start a fight, but I ignored him and he left," I relay.

"Lucky," he sighs, "He knows we know each other though, and that's a little annoying. Even as another person - as a girl on top of that - he still manages to annoy me."

"He hasn't done anything weird, right?"

"No, don't worry. He's only been giving me glares and bumping into me and stuff. Nothing sexual," he assures me. I must not look entirely convinced, because he adds: "And I haven't done anything sexual either, okay?"

"I believe you. How are things with Megan?"

He pauses.

"She's no longer mad at me..."

"Thank goodness," I charm.

"But now she's talking so much with me I know I'm going to slip up!"

"Oh, well, uh... do your best, I suppose?"

"Thanks. I'd say the same but you and Evan seem to be getting along quite well."

"Yeah, he's just really nice. Talking to him isn't stressful, especially since he doesn't notice anything. It's a little weird to be talking about your friend in front of you, hehe..."

"Have you met Sam yet?"

"The latino? He's also nice, but a little too energetic for me. I'm afraid of him figuring things out, since he's so boyish."

"You sound like you're on some dating show," Zachary suddenly states.

"Wha- Why would you say that!?"

"I dunno, it just popped up in my head."

"Well, what do you think of Megan then?"

He thinks for a bit.
