Shadow smiled hiding his disappointment that Knuckles couldn't join but was happy to meet his future in laws. "I'm just so happy all my boys have found someone special." Maria smiled as the butler pours her tea. "You two are such lovely girls" Xavier said as a maid brings a tray of baked breakfast treats. "It's a pleasure to finally meet all of you." A white female hedgehog smiled. "Of course Crystal" Maria smiled. "So Shadow where is your man?" A red female fox asked. "Oh he had an emergency at his work so he couldn't come Fiona." Shadow replied and took a bite of his steak omelette. "Oh that's a shame I hope it turns out well" Crystal said. "What is his name by the way?" Fiona asked and sips her tea. "Oh his name is Knuckles." He said and she rose a brow. "His first name wouldn't happened to be Knucseem? Would it?" She asked and Maria gulped. "Um actually yes. Do you him?" Shadow said. "Red echinda, body like a god and purple eyes?" She asked. "Again yes and do you know him?" Shadow asked. "Not personally but he was a friend of my brother and you should—" "Fiona sweetie as the future queen of our lovely kingdom I have completely forgotten to show you the crown choices for your coronation." Maria cut Fiona and drags her away from the table. "Ooooook that was.... Odd... especially for your mother..." Xavier said.
"My queen what is your problem you and your family need to know what that man truly—" "I know what he is and so far he hasn't giving me reason to ban my son from seeing him." Maria hissed and Fiona sees it in her eyes. "You made a deal with him too didn't you?" Fiona said and Maria sighed. "Yes..." she admits. "Do they know?" Fiona asked. "No and they can't EVER know. "Why?" "Because when I made that deal I was ill.... I was at risk of losing my life..... I was desperate. I didn't want to loose my husband so one night I snuck out and went to a place I heard granted wishes..... I didn't know I was making a deal with the devil himself until I got there. He was charming and made me feel relax then listen to my predicament. He told me he would rid my illness and it won't ever return yet he told me it'll come with a price. He said that once I'm cured I will bear three sons. He said he will come and claim my youngest as his mate after his 21st birthday. Being desperate I accepted. He conjured up a vile with a glowing pink potion and told me to drink it with mint tea. The moment I took that vile the deal was made. I forgotten about the deal until the day I met him again...." She looks down and Fiona held her hands. "I'm so sorry.... But they need to know.... What he did to my brother.... My brother made a deal a stupid deal.... A deal that he did warn him of the consequences..... fine I won't say a thing. You're right." She said. "Thank you because if I do go back on my end scourge, Darius and shadow would not exist." She said. Fiona sees why Maria was so worried and didn't want to loose scourge. "You're welcome and.... Shadow is alright?" Fiona asked. "Yes he's been treating my son well and he's been very happy. No spells no manipulation he's been genuine with everything." Maria said. She said and Fiona nods. "Ok but I'll be keeping a close eye on him. My brother is dead because of him. Even if he did warn him." She said. "Very well but you'll have to make up something" Maria said. "Yeah I know...." Fiona said and the two women walked back to the brunch. "Sorry about that everyone" Maria smiled as they sat down. "It's alright mother now Fiona what we're going to say about knuckles?" Scourge asked. "Oh that to be careful he might steal your pickle spear if you take him to Bayon's grill house." She smiled. "Well you're late on that warning" shadow chuckled and everyone laughed. The image fades into a small mirror as Knuckles sat on his throne smiling. "Well done my queen" he smiled and closed the mirror then got up from his throne. "Sire? When are you going to tell shadow who you really are?" A pink hedgehog asked. "Soon Amy... but I just need to win his heart more." He said as they walked down the dark halls. "But what if he rejects you?" She asked and they walk into a room glowing with purple, pink, and blue lights. "Blaze do you have it ready?" Knuckles said to a purple cat who nods. "Yes sire" she hands him and vile of glowing blue liquid. He grips the vile and turns to show it to Amy. "If he does I'll just simply 'persuade' with this~" he smiled then laughs wickedly. "You wicked man~" she smiled. "Well... I am the Devil~"

His wicked laughs echo through the dark castle.
