Salem

"I say it is!" Lucifer yelled and snaps sending her back to hell. "Darius!" Crystal cried and Maria and Xavier run over. Darius hissed but was badly hurt. "No my baby" Maria said and held his head. Knuckles approach and knelt down seeing the burns. "I can heal him" he said and looks at Darius who was confused as to why after everything he done. "You saved us now let me return the favor." His hands glowed and it was familiar to shadow. He was brought back to that night he should've died but the glow he remembered before passing out. Knuckles  healed him of his fatal wounds so he knew he will do the same for Darius. Darius hissed once knuckles started healing him and Maria held her son's head and crystal held his arms down while shadow held his legs. Darius soon yelled as the stinging hurt him until he felt no pain. "Just take slow breaths Darius. You're going to be ok" knuckles smiled and Darius breathes a few seconds before he slowly sat up. "Thank you..." he said to knuckles. "Of course you truly shown your remorse of your mistakes plus I hate for my husband and your family to loose you." He replied. Shadow hugged his brother. "I still feel terrible about Sky though...." He said. "It's alright you kinda did us a favor.... Turns out she was sent by Knuckles brother Crowley for a horrible reason. I still miss the little thing though." He looks down. "Well Darius and I have a gift if it'll be allowed in hell with you." Crystal said and walks over to a black carrier. Knuckles smiled knowing what it is and knows shadow was going to be happy. "His name is Salem" she said as she opens the carrier and pulls out a black and grey kitten with a red bow on its neck. Shadow smiled and takes the kitten who takes a liking to him immediately. "He's adorable and of course he's welcome in hell with us" knuckles smiled and pets the small kitten who likes him too. "Thank you both" he said. "Looks like this is the start of a beautiful future." Xavier smiled and the families all smile agreeing.

5 years later

After the event of the wedding Lucifer confronted his son Leviathan and punished him and his daughter for her actions. Darius and Crystal soon married a month after the wedding and now are proud parents of a beautiful little girl. Scourge and Fiona gave birth to twin boys and a little girl soon after. Shadow was crowned king after he and knuckles performed their sexual desires after the wedding. They too welcomed a son made from the clay and parts of their DNA then a little girl shortly after. Both their children are perfect and happy and are three and four years old now.
Shadow smiles watching them play with Salem with a feather toy knuckles walks in and wraps his arms around shadow from behind watching them as well. "It's getting close to their bedtime" he whispered. "Just let them play a little longer.... They'll be grown up soon." Shadow said and knuckles chuckled. "Ok" they turn a face each other then kiss. When they look back they see their children had fallen asleep with Salem asleep between them making them chuckle. "Out like a light" shadow smiled and they walk over picking them up and takes them to their bed room. Salem followed and gets in his bed between their beds before curling up as they put them in their bed. Knuckles and Shadow leave the kids bedroom and smile before closing the doors. Knuckles takes shadows hand and takes him to the balcony of the castle. "What are you doing?" Shadow asked. "Well it is our fifth wedding anniversary and I thought we do something special." Knuckles smiled and Shadow hears the familiar haunted tune making him smile. "May I have this dance?" He held out his hand. "Yes" shadow smiled and takes knuckles hand. The two dance like they did many years ago at shadow's birthday ball feeling more in love and closer now.

Who knew a dance with the devil would lead to such a happy ending.
