19- Admitting it

Third Person Pov:

The next day arrived after whatever debate Danielle and Haerin had, Danielle was with her friends while Haerin was under that tree like always.

"Hyein I am still not giving you my precious money!" Hanni crossed her arms while Hyein was smiling.

"A deals a deal! You never make a deal when you have the chance to! Now give me my two thousand yen!" Hyein tried reaching for Hannis arm but Hanni was not giving up, she needed that money for whatever plans she wanted to do with it.

"I need it! You're gonna make me poor!" Hanni complained. "What are you gonna spend it on? Those weird love books that make you delusional?" Hyein asked her smile wide because she wanted the money too.

"What about it?! You're probably gonna spend it on milk and food!" Hanni retorted, "I see.." Hyein got an idea and took Hannis lunch tray.

"It's okay, I can buy another." Hanni shrugged as if it meant nothing. "I'm taking your next ten lunches too." Hyein smile turned into a smirk at Hanni's reaction

"Take. It." Hanni said quite literslly slamming the money infront of Hyein. She was expecting Hyein to return her tray.

"Thanks for the tray and money!" Hyein said before putting the money in her pocket and walked put with the tray leaving Hanni upset and dumbfounded.

"Fuck you Hyein!" Hanni shouted to Hyein holding up the middle finger to her and so did Hyein, gaining stares from other students and some teachers which made Hanni zip her mouth and sit back down as if nothing happened.

"Minji?" I asked Minji who was busy eating like a normal person, "Yeah?" She answered me.

"Can I ask you something since someone here is getting ready to chase a tree..?" I wanted confirmation since one person looked like she'd explode and chase Hyein with a knife.

"Sure." She replied switching her gaze from the food to me since she'll take anything seriously depending on the situation.

"Do you know how faling in love feels like?"

Minji looked at Danielle, she never expected her friend to ask her that question because she knows Danielle wasn't much of a love person but she supported the idea.

"Do you have a crush?" Minji asked Danielle who was quite unsure. "I don't know if I feel sick or if it's love." Danielle said nervously.

"I'm not the one to ask these type of questions to. You can ask Hanni, she definetly knows this." Minji pointed to Hanni who was scolding the baby chick that returned with an empty tray.

"I will, thanks Min." Danielle gave Minji a genuine smile. "No problem." Minji replied to Danielle amd went back on eating her food.

"Got it!?" Hanni questioned Hyein who was on the verge of laughing. "This is not funny Hye! The last gimbap was on there!" Hanni complained.

"Really..? It tasted so good I couldn't really help myself!" Hyein joked teasing Hanni who was not finding this funny.

"It is so not funny! That kimbap could've solved government problems!" Hanni huffed. "What the fuck!?" Hyein exclaimed bursting out in laughter hugging her stomach because it was hurting her from the laughter.

"I never thought I'd hear that from Hanni herself.." Minji said laughing too, now Hanni was back to scolding them which even got Danielle to start laughing from Hannis claims.

Danielle was waiting in the lounge because she invited Hanni over who was happy to discuss on Danielle's feelings that might be associated with love for Haerin, which she doesn't want to admit.

A knock was heard on the door which got Danielle to immediately stand up, she walked to the door and opened it to find Hanni, she welcomed her in and Hanni gladly entered.

Danielle Pov:

I'm currently sitting on the bed with Hanni beside me who was busy munching on gimbap to make up what happened for earlier.

I was zoning out thinking about anything really, even that cat I'm questioning my feelings for.

"So whatcha wanna talk about?" Hanni asked me. "Hanni," I called her. She looked at me noticing the nervous expression on my face.

"What does.. falling in love feel like? I've been feeling this weird things around a specific person, I don't know what to say it's been confusing me really." I added.

Hanni smiled. "You know those random fireworks in your chest, your heart racing about your little crush, that's love." She explained to me. That's exactly what I've been feeling around Haerin.. that's foreign to know I'm not straight.

"You described it really well, where did you get this knowledge from?" I asked her.

"You know, the casual, books. They're interesting but they mainly involve people who confess easily. Which kind of makes it boring, but I'm there for the plot and character designs." She smiled like a fool, that's really something...?

"But really, who's this person you like? I'm interested." She asked me this time, I don't wanna say it because it would feel embarrassing for no reason, and she'd probably tease me every second for it.

"How about I keep that person a secret?" I'd grin seeing the upset expression on her face. Maybe I should tell her?

"Pleasee Dani! I wanna know! You're making me even more curious than I should be!" Hanni pleaded which made me sigh.

"Promise you won't tease me?" I asked and Hanni nodded aggressively, woah calm down before you break your neck..

"It's Haerin.." I said in a low voice but she heard it, I look beside and see the most surprised Hanni I've ever seen in my life..

"Hyeins sister Haerin? THE Kang Haerin!?? Or some Haerin I don't even know exists!?" Hanni said her tone higher than the sky.

"First option.." I was still processing Hannis reaction which made me nervous at her outburst.

"Don't worry, Danielle. Actually worry." Hanni said out of the blue. What's that supposed to mean?!?!

"Why!? You're the one worrying me! Actually now that I think of it, I should worry." I'd change my mind with her which caused her to laugh.

"What got you to say that?" She asked me. "It's just something Haerin said that ruined my chances totally." I answered.

"Ooh that hurts, what did she say?"

"That she will never fall in love."

[Don't worry Dani she will... she already did just give it like a few more chapters..]
