Third Person Pov:

"Well.. what do you say?" Haerin asked once again. Danielle was blushing furiously at this point.

"I mean.. why not?" Danielle answered. She pretended like she was thinking, but the answer was already chosen when the question was asked.

Haerin was a little taken aback, not expecting her to say yes. She nodded slowly. "Can I get your phone number? Just to text you the details." She said, trying to stay still.

"Mhm." Danielle spoke, Haerin handed her phone to Danielle and tried to look away, but her eyes were basically set on staring.

Danielle handed her phone back, catching Haerin in the act. Haerin looked away, being the one to blush this time.

Hyein and Hanni were acting as if they were watching a K-drama. It was funny to then ar how awkward they were acting around each other.

"I'll text you the details later.. well, see you then?" Haerin tried ending the conversation as fast as possible.

"Alright." Danielle answered, and Haerin quickly got up, walking away covering her face. That was a blushing mess.

Hyein couldn't hold it in anymore and started laughing her ass off. Hanni cheeks puffed as she tried to hold in her laugh but ended up laughing too.

Their laughters were so loud to the point that it woke Minji up. Danielle was just embarrassed by her friends and how awkward she was.

"Why are you guys laughing so loud?" Minji asked, yawning slightly after. "Haerin asked Dani out!" Hanni said before Hyein could.

The two stared at each other and started laughing again. "Huh? I don't understand, isn't that great? Congrats, Dani!" Minji congratulated her, trying to be a good friend.

"You don't understand! Their faces were the definition of red, and they were so awkward with each other, too!" Hyein said, trying to breathe.

Hanni hit the table a few times before managing to speak. "Shit, I swear I'm gonna grow a damn six-pack!" She breathed out.

The saying itself just made them laugh for whatever reason. However, Minji was still confused. "If they have a crush on each other, wouldn't it be normal for them to act nervous around each other?" Minji said casually

"Huh?" Danielle asked.

"What do you mean Haerin has a crush on me?" She questioned again. Hyein immediately stopped laughing, and Hanni followed.

"You did -" Before Minji could continue, Hyein cut her off. "It's just a wild guess it's obvious she likes you!" Hyein came up with the first excuse in her mind.

"What makes you think that?" "Look, this girl acts nervous around you. When was the last time you saw her nervous, except a few minutes ago?" Hanni said.

"Hm.. I don't remember." Danielle thought before saying. "Well? If you dont remember, then it's probably been a long time. Why would she suddenly be nervous around you?" Hyein was trying to convince her.

"That's something I'm trying to figure out." Danielle spoke. Hyein was literally shocked. "Dani.. I just told you like five times." Hyein said in disbelief.

"But there's no way, I'm so sure she doesn't like me. Remember that time at the chemistry lab??" Danielle huffed out.

Hyein looked at Hanni as she mouthed out for help. She did have a point to make her believe Haerin doesn't like her.

"Have some hope. There still is a chance she likes you. She suddenly acts shy around you. Isn't that a hint?" Hanni spoke, Danielle seemed at least a little convinced.

"Suddenly, I want to go home." Minji said, trying to switch the topic from the silence.

"Let's just hope a fire happens and we get to go home." Hanni said, and Hyein agreed.

The bell rang, signalling they had to go to their respective classes, and they did so.

One thing was on Danielle's mind.

The 'date'

(mwhaha timeskip cuz i can't write :p)

It was dawn. The sun was going to set after a few minutes. Haerin was waiting at the spot they arranged to meet.

It was a rooftop, Haerin thought about other places, but she tried this area. It looked alright to her.

The place was well set, two candles on the quite wide railing, it lit up the area slightly, it looked romantic and the vibe was comfortable.

There was a table with snacks and food for them to enjoy if they were hungry, Haerin took one last look at the spot and thought to herself.

'Since when did I become so romantic? I'm gonna be such a sap at this point.'

She suddenly felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. It was a call from Danielle. She picked it up and brought the phone to her ear.

Danielle: I'm so sorry I'm gonna be a few minutes late! I'm just trying to find something to wear. *rummaging in the background*

Haerin: You don't have to dress all fancy, dress comfortably, and just come. There is no need to rush.

Danielle: Ah, alright! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience again..

Haerin: It's okay. Take your time.

After a while, Haerin hung up, and she was left waiting once again.

Haerin was enjoying the scenery when she suddenly heard the door open. She turned behind to find Danielle.

She was wearing a skirt and a shirt that had a flower pattern on it. It was almost the complete opposite of what Haerin was. Haerin was wearing baggy cargos and a striped shirt. They were matching in some way.

Danielle approached Haerin and greeted her, Haerin greeted her back, and they had a conversation.

"I can't believe you did all this. This is so sweet!"

"It's nothing much. I tried to make it look good."

"No way, anyways, thank you so much, Haerin-Ah!"

"Mhm."

They started to talk. They were talking for a bit too long. The moon was starting to rise.

They both stopped to see the view. It was beautiful and added more dim to the place they were at. The candles were still lighting.

There was a comfortable silence between them before Haerin spoke.

"The moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?"
